SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR AUGUMENTATION OF WATER SOTRAGE CAPACITY AND DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AT NCHC POWAI

(a) Boring hole 03 Nos as shown on drawing 100mm dia by rotary drilling for soil investigation in any type of soil/rock/concrete floors and sub bases refusal including boulder weathers rock upto a depth of 10 mtrs. Each or as directed by GE alongwith SLPT at every 1.50m, and carrying out SPT and other tests required for designing the foundation. (b) Test report should be include all the ntests as required for designinjg the foundation such as SPT values bore logs soild classification and also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type, of foundation system bearing capacity likely total presentable manner. The unit's rate quoted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner. The unit's rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of subvmission of such reports and samples of Soil. (c) Water Will be supplied by the Department. (d) The report should contain following test, as applicable to the soil on ground:- (i) Bore hole chart. (ii) Profile of all type bore ho0les. (iii) Bearing capacity calculation indicating SBC of soil with the type of foundation and depth. (iv) Consolidated test on undisturbed sample. (v) Chemicals analysis of ground water. (vi) Unconsolidated and un-drained triaxial shear test. (vii) Crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered. (viii) SBC of gound with type of foundation. (ix) Existing water table (if met). (x) Photographic record during the progress. (e) Compilation of geotechnical report including field & laboratory test results, recommendation report for foundation system, graphs and addressing all relevant geotechnical issues etc complete including vetting of report by IIT/NIT or any Govt Engineering College of India.
