Disconnecting, dismantling & taking down old unserviceable APFC Panel Box of any size & capacity including all fixtures/accessories and Supply, installing, commissioning and testing factory made and tested (CPRI type test certified) Outdoor type Automatic Power Factor Control (APFC) Panel of 200 kVAR capacity, 440 Volt, 3 Phase & neutral, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system, with multistage correction Capacitors of cylindrical type (Heavy duty) operates in 12 Steps configuration (25+25+25+25+20+20+15+15+10+10+5+5) in LT Panel Box cubical type (KIOSK) of suitable size to accommodate the following accessories, made out of 3.15 mm thick MS CRCA sheet (outer body, doors, etc), inside partitions & cover made out of 2mm thick MS CRCA sheet, with modular hinges, total modular type fabrication, powder coated inside & outside with 7 tanks process in approved shade, protection class IP-55, with coloured insulation sleeve, rubber gasket, insulators, outdoor type, totally enclosed, weather, dust and vermin proof as per IS, front & rear opening with double door shutters having suitable aldrop bolt locking arrangement, including internal wiring with PVC insulated stranded copper conductor FRLS cables of appropriate size as directed with proper ferrule & cable glands, MCCB spreaders, Capacitor contactors, including connecting incoming and outgoing cables, including danger notice plate, necessary PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in foundation and frame made out of 65 x 65 x 6mm angle iron grouted at minimum 45cm above ground level and 30cm below ground level, comprising & including the following accessories complete all as specified and as directed :- description of item contd....

Description of serial item No. 1 contd… Notes : (i) Vertical height of legs of LT panel base frame shall be not less than 45 cm from top of nearest road level / PCC floor finish. Legs shall be grouted in ground minimum 30cm in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate). (ii) The contractor shall produce and get the detailed (GD) drawings of LT Panel approved from GE through Engineer-in-Charge before fabrication and placing the order to the approved manufacturer. (iii) MS frame work shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide primer. (iv) Cost of internal wiring, MS frame work, painting, platform, MCCB spreaders, Capacitor contactors, cable glands, locking arrangement with aldrop bolt and any minor addition/alteration where required at site (the decision of GE shall be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor addition/alteration) shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 185 sqmm 3½ Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately..

All as per serial item No. 4 here-in-above but cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3½ Core.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

Taking down carefully old existing LT PCC Cable Cover of any type & size complete all as specified & as directed.

Laying only LT PCC cable covers of any type & size for protection of UG electric cables in trenches, obtained serviceable from item No. 9 here-in-above, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class LV, Flat, Type-1, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm for protection of underground cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for filling approved dry river sand for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm thickness over the cable and punning to 18 cm total thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Approved dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L for Earthing with & including galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to & including galvanized mild steel strip 32x6 mm as earth lead, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted/welded to earth plate at one end and other end of strip connected to Panel / transformer / GOD / equipment body / test point with two Nos nuts bolts or welding with steel structure, GI earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level fixed with and including 25x3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from earth pit to top of electrode and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40mm thick RCC (1:2:4 type B1) cover complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing of any type. Note : PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
