Periodical service/ Comprehensive maintenance of fire Alarm /Detection system comprising of Fire alarm panels with battery backup, Manual Call Points (MCPs), Heat/Smoke detectors, Hooter/strobe, response indicators, Electric siren etc at following buildings complete including testing with smoke detector tester, functionality of all components, cleaning all devices, checking all control circuit and connection from sensor to microprocessor based fire alarm panel, for smooth functioning by employing skilled tradesmen. (Rate inclusive of any repairs involved and also replacement of unserviceable spares. Required spares shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule as 'supply only').

Note:- (i) Contractor shall maintain all the documents and produce to the concerned Engr-in- charge as and when required.

(ii) The contractor should attend any complaint / break down immediately at par of number of times on call basis

(iii) The technicians employed should be trained and having sound knowledge about fire detecting /Alarm system.

(iv) Checking the serviceability of smoke detector by creating the heat / smoke artificially at sensing range of smoke detector and rest the alarm panel after checking each smoke detector and also to check the indication of alarm panel as per Zone wise. Contractor shall give the demo and training for all duty staffs about the fire alarm system. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for the same

Supply only 1.5 Sqmm 2 core PVC insulated un sheathed FRLS multi stranded copper conductor Cable on wall/laying with suitable size of fixing arrangement all as specified and directed

Supply only battery 12 volt 7 AH for fire alarms and control panels including incoming and outgoing connection complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Before claiming payment purchase voucher for full quantity of batteries claimed in RAR/Final Bill shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge for verification).

Material and labour for checking of fire/ smoke detector by artificial means to check the serviceability of all detectors periodically & Submitted their test certificate to department complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for in replacement of Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for in replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screwed all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for in replacement of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm buried in ground with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors including removing and replacement of deteriorated SS bolts, nuts and washers as required at site etc in the existing GI strip of any size from the starting point to upto the end connected points all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25 X 4mm as earthing by means of bolts nuts and washers of galvanized iron including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil including 40 mm GI tubing light grade and necessary fittings for protection of GI strip including laying of charcoal , dust and common salt, PCC 1:2: 4 type B 1 using 20 mm graded aggregate with earth pit with 40 X 40 X 6.0 mm MS angle iron frame RCC cover 40 mm thick (1:2: 4) Type C0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia round bar @ 75 mm C/C both way with plastering 15 mm thick CM ( 1: 6) internally and up to 150 mm below ground level externally, PGI funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for watering complete and connected to earth test point including testing and taking out old earthing complete all specified and directed. Materials and labour for repairing of the earthing complete with digging and filling the salt and charcoal 5-10kg and refiling sand including chamber plaster, providing the RCC cover of the required size including all necessary work as per direction complete all as specified & directed

Providing and fixing 25mm X 4mm G.I strip 40 mm dia G.I pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation, and refilling etc as required.

Supplying and laying 4 mm dia copper wire on surface or recess for loop earthing , including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required complete all as specified & directed

Providing and fixing of lightning conductor finial, made of 25 mm dia 300 mm long, G.I. tube, having single prong at top, with 85 mm dia 6 mm thick G.I. base plate including holes etc. complete as required.

Fixing of lightning conductor finial (single prong) with base plate including holes etc. complete as required.

Jointing copper / G.I. tape (with another copper/ GI tape, base of the finial or any other metallic object) by riveting / nut bolting/ sweating and soldering etc as required.
