Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris (a) Single brick flat soling

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil & spreading the soil uniformly over the flanks & consolidating & dressing the sub-grade to correct camber & grade.

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) (d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on- edge laid in herring bone pattern on a layer of brick flat (thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Providing & laying nominal Mix Cement Concrete of Grade M-20 (With mix proportion 1: 1.S: 3) with 19 mm down well graded stone aggregates of Pakur or other approved variety and sand including screening and cleaning of aggregates if necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, finishing and curing, including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and reinforcement if any. a) with 1:1/2:3 Concrete

Hire and labour charges for shuttering ‘a/ith or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/ steet sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert , box culvert ,crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting ,fixing and striking out after copletion of work as per specification and direction. (b) Where staging is not required

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end. (i) 10 cm av. Diameter

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles i) 10 cm avarage diameter .

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm.and less than 15cm (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.

Supplying of empty cement polythene bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Supplying laying fitting & fixing R.C.C. spun pipes and collars with cement mortar (1:3) including fixing the pipes collars with jute, pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. (b)Spun pipe-600 dia,NP-2 Grade

Supplying R.C.C.spun pipes collars including loading, carriage, unloading at site b) Collar-600 dia, NP-2 Grade.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Earthwork for making embankments or for repairs to embankment,closing breaches etc. including supply and carriage of earth by trucks or carts or by other conveyance over land including loading, transporting & unloading all lifts bothways and head load where necessary complete within a total lead of (a) Between 510 metre and 1 Km.

For compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by the contractor add Rs. 25.00 per m3 extra over rate of E/W for land owned/arranged by the Depertment . Royalty Charge on earth @ Rs. 29.00 per m3 & Cesses Charges @ Rs. 5.30 Per m3 (i.e. , Rs. 15.00 per cft.) as per govt. notification , which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the Royalties & Cesses .

Extra rate over Item Nos.16 for all kinds of soi for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres.

Extra rate over Item Nos.1566 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawing and technical specification with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.
