ITEM NO. 1 : Drilling trial bore hole by direct or reverse rotary combination rig plant and equipment through any kind of soil/rock strata by drilling not less than 250mm bore hole upto 350 mtr depth below ground level including disposal of surplus soil/rock to a distance not exc 50 mtr away complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) (appliacble for item no 01 to 03) : Direct drilling or reverse rotary combination rig plant of suitable capacity along with necessary tools/eqipments for drilling borewell shall be arranged by contractor under his own arrangement . Hire charges for the Rig plant and its transportation to site and removing from site after completion of the work shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of item and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. (ii) The contractor quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for removable/disposal of retrieved soil/spoil etc to a distance not exc 50 mtr from the starting point. (iii) The work shall be carried out at ten different places as directed by GE/Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) The contractor shall make his own arrangement to store/transport the water required for drilling and deptt will provide water point for tapping of water only at available source as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
ITEM NO. 2 :Expanding trial bore by drilling by direct or reverse rotary combination rig plant and equipment through any kind of soil/rock strata by drilling not less than 680mm borehole upto 120 metre for casing pipe from ground level including disposal of surplus soil/rock to a distance not exc 50 metre away complete all as specified and direcetd by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 3 :Expanding trial bore by drilling by direct or reverse rotary combination rig plant and equipment through any kind of soil/rock strata by drilling not less than 680mm bore depth exceeding 120 metre and upto 300 metre for casing pipe including disposal of surplus soil/rock to a distance not exc 50 metre away complete all as specified and direcetd by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Measurement of this item shall start from 120 metre below the Ground level and upto 300 metre.
ITEM NO. 4 : Supply, lowering and fixing into borehole, 350mm bore MS casing pipe ERW 8mm wall thickness in six metre length having threading and welding at both ends externally, ISI Marked, as per IS -4270:2001, including providing two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of primers on external surfaces of pipes, complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 5 : Supply, lowering and fixing into borehole, 250mm bore MS casing pipe ERW 8 mm wall thickness in six metre length having threading and welding at both ends externally , ISI Marked, as per IS -4270:2001 , including providing two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of primers on external surfaces of pipes, complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 6 : Supply, lowering and fixing into borehole, 250mm bore Stainless Steel Slotted pipe 8 mm wall thickness having longitudinal slotes of 1 mm dia cut into the pipe complete as reqd for tubewell having threading and welding at both ends externally , ISI Marked, as per IS -4270:2001, complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 7 :Supply, lowering and fixing of centering guide into borewell made out of flat rings, ribs suitable for 350/250mm nominal bore MS casing pipe complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 8 : MS Socket having wall thickness 8 mm for connecting MS casing pipe 350mm bore complete with proper welding/threading complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 9 : MS Socket having wall thickness 8 mm for connecting MS casing pipe 250mm bore complete with proper welding/threading complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 10 :MS Reducer for 350 to 250mm nominal bore of MS Pipe having wall thickness 8mm screwed at both end with and including necessary fittings and jointing at appropriate length complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 11 : MS Bail Plug of 8 mm thickness suitable for 250mm nominal bore MS casing pipe having internal and external threading with rings, ribs and welded with and including iron handle complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 12 :Housing clamps of suitable length/width made out of 20mm thick MS plate suitable for 350/250mm nominal bore MS casing pipe with and including necessary nut & bolts and washers at ground level, embedded in PCC block of suitable size 1:2:4 type B1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :PCC will be measured and paid for separately.
ITEM NO.13 : Supply, pouring and packing pea gravel of size 2mm to 5mm duly screened and washed , around casing pipe and slotted pipes in the above holes complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Stack Measurement shall be recorded in MB, before pouring the pea gravel as packing in the bore hole.
ITEM NO.14 : Development of bore well by compressor of capacity not less than 100cum/hr and 600 PSI till clear water is obtained including stablization of the tubewell and also including carrying out yields test and static water level complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.15 : Development of bore well by heavy duty submersible pumps set of capacity not less than 20000 GPH so as to obtain sand/silt free water upto 20 PPM (Test record for the same duly signed by contractor and Engineer-in-Charge shall be kept on record) complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.16 :Strata sample box overall size 1200x750x100mm made out of 18 to20mm thick veneered particles board and frame of aluminium angle of size 25x25x2mm having 20 Nos partitions of equal size made with 12mm thick commercial quality plywood and 25x25x2mm aluminium angles bearers with and also including sliding type sheet glass 5mm thick cover with suitable size aluminium channel frame around 02 nos key holes made out of aluminium plate of size 40x25x3 mm with aluminium handles and painting with and including 2 coats of synthetic enamell paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surface complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note-(i)Strata samples and starta chart shall be provided by contractor alongwith the strata sample box and cost of these shall deemed to be included in quoted rate. (ii) During drilling, lithological samples may be collected at an interval of 3m or whenever there is a change in lithology.This provisions is also shall deemed to be included in quoted rates of item.
ITEM NO.17 :Supply only drawings showing assembly lowered alongwith borewell details on full scape size paper duly laminated and framed on and including 10mm thick veneered particle board commercial quality complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.18: Testing of water samples of bore wells for potability by chemical analysis as well as bacteriological potability from Govt Laboratory and submission of the report complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Water sample shall be collected in 3 bottles and sealed for Lab Testing duly signed by Contractor and GE.
ITEM NO.19 : Electronic logging by means of electric logger for the total depth of tube wells submission of 4 copies of logging sheet alongwith one original copy and its interpreation complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The borehole shall be electrically-loggedfor precise delineation of aquifer and the water bearing zones available which are to be tapped.
ITEM NO.20 : Supply and lowering column pipe 100 mm bore GI tubing 'medium grade' ISI marked of 3.0 meter length having both ends welded flanged (suitable for submersible pump/cable with rubber gaskets ) and drilled holes complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.21 : PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in filling around casing pipe below ground level to a depth decided by Engr-in- charge incl provn of form work for PCC block complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.22 : Packing local clay around housing/casing pipe below ground level for a depth as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.24 :Supply, lowering, connecting and testing submersible pump set having 8 stage CI impeller , capacity 40 HP with motor three phase 415 volts suitable for discharge of water 750 litres per minute at 130 metre head complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in-charge.
ITEM NO.25 : Supply, laying , jointing and testing Pipe ductile Iron 150 mm bore (6”) , S/S Class “K-9” pipe with tyton joint end , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately.
ITEM NO. 26: Cast iron sluice valve with brass spindle PN 1.6 with flanged ends suitable for pipe of size 150 mm including rubber gasket and nut-bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 27 : Non return valve of cast iron, for 150mm bore pipe, Class-I (ISI marked) and brass flap and seat without by pass arrangement, flanged both ends, joints and jointing material such as nuts-bolts, washers and rubber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
ITEM NO. 28 : Cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 70 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
ITEM NO. 29 : Sand cushioning to cables using dry clean sand with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth (punned down to 18 cm depth) after laying and stretching of cable including consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Punned quantity of sand shall only be measured for the purpose of payment
ITEM NO. 30 : Unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class LV, Type I, flat, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
ITEM NO. 31 : PVC submersible cable flat, stranded copper conductor 25 sqmm 3 core including tieing with column pipe with nylon rope complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 32 : Earthing complete with and including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm surrounded by a mixture of charcoal and salt in alternate layers burried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected with a GI strip 25x4 mm as earthing lead by means bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron, 15 mm bore GI pipe (light grade) for protection of earthing lead, 20 mm bore (medium grade) GI pipe for watering with funnel, wire mesh and including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in pit base and 50 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg/sq m) pit cover, C.I frame, charcoal and common salt filling in alternate layers, complete all as shown and specified in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) complete all as shown on drawings and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The unit rate includes for protecton pipe 15mm and GI strip from top of earth plate upto 7.50 metre above ground level.
ITEM NO. 33 : CI/DI fittings or specials for spigot & socketed and flanged pipe conforming to IS-9523 and ISI marked Tee (equal or unequal) dead flanges/plug, connecting pieces, tapers, collars reducers for pipe of size upto 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 34 : Supply, fix and testing direct cylinder mounted type vacuum chlorinator for chlorine feed including all gauges with stainless centrifugal pump set conforming to IS 12639 having capacity 1.0 to 1000 gm/hr with all connected items complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 35 :Taking out cast iron water mains of size 150mm (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and deposit to MES store yard complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 36 :Taking out cast iron water mains of size 200/250mm (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and deposit to MES store yard complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 37 : Excavation in trenches in Soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipe line etc. and each single pit not exceeding 10Sqm on plan and getting out complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 38 : Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each,excavated soil in trenches as in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 39 : Removing surplus soil/ excavated material obtained from demolition, to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 40 : Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, class designation 100, old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO. 41 : Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces , trowelled to even and smooth without using extra cement, on newly surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ITEM NO.44 : MS cap for borewell made of 8 mm thick MS sheet suitable for 350 mm dia ERW MS casing pipe and duly drilled for 100 mm dia GI pipe column complete all as specifed and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
