M& L, for earthing in replacement with galvanised steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.25 mtr below grond level, earth plate packed on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150 mm connected by GI earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm thick soldered and revetted to earth plate. GI earth strip will be protected by using 40mm bore GI pipe (light grade ISI marked) from top edge of earth plate to main earth point to be connected and 20mm dia GI watering pipe medium grade ISI marked.with funnel with wire mesh etc. The earthing includes construction of earth pit chamber made of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using stone agg pit, RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg and angle iron frame of 25 x 25 x 5mm, all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I Note:- Rates of test point, extra length of main earthing lead beyond 7.5 mtr, connecting lead from test point to main switch or switch board and equipment to be earth shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Note:- Rates of test point, extra length of main earthing lead beyond 7.5 mtr, connecting lead from test point to main switch or switch board and equipment to be earth shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Taking out VCB 11KV 400 Amp and disconnecting incoming and outgoing electric cable connection including earthing and repair/Maint / general overhauling of VCB, rectification of machanical defects, cleaning, adjustment of mechanism , machining , welding , lathwork required and setting of relay of the system control wiring for detection of fault /measuring /protection system /electrical parameter /calibration of VCB,system of HT 11 KV VCB,s /OCB,s & RMU,s /Relays etc,painting of VCB pannel if required to match with existing paint incl with spray painting machine and re-installation including complete testing existing location as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Make ABB/CG) installed at MRS of GE Lansdowne. The Mechanism of ON/OFF /Trip Minor part Triping lever clutch, spring ,lock,Bakelite housing set , contacts includeded in quoted rate by the contractor no extra payment will be claim.(II) Rate inclusive of repair of mechanism of ON/OFF /Trip Minor part ie Control wiring with HT VCB panel,Replacement of tripping / earth fault relay's coil 24 volts DC.,Rotary switch Closing coiil 24 Volts. Auxiliary switch. Limit switch. Auxiliary contactor etc includeded in quoted rate by the contractor no extra payment will be claim.(III) Repair Job should be done by competent tecnician i.e for electrical /mechnical system ,Who have experience to work at 11 KV . Any accident /mishapenning occurred during the execution of work shall be responsibity of Contractor.(iv).All necessary tools & plants i.e. multimeter, tong tester, spanner set, wrench, screw driver set, cobination plier, testing lamp set, drilling machine, bomboo ladder, blower/vacumm cleaner, crimping tool, cutting and chasing tool, insulation megger ,any tools required at site etc will have to kept by tecnician and provided by contractor . any protective clothing or accessiories be provide by contractor and ensured before starting the job.

Taking down of transformers of capacity 50/100/250/300/400 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to new directed location including loading and unloading of transformer, and remounting on 2/4 pole structure/PCC foundation and making all HT and LT connections as directed complete all as specified and directed . .

Taking down of transformers of capacity 50/100/250/300/400 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to workshop for repairs including loading and unloading of transformer, and return to old/new desired location complete and then lowering it by means of crane and remounting on 2/4 pole structure/PCC foundation after repairs all as directed and specified by engineer in charge. .

M&L, for dismantling, detecting the fault and seggregation of LT/HT leg coil from transformer for rewinding LT/HT coil with enamelled insulating copper wire of required gauge including insulating materials of superior quality such as craft paper cotton tapes HT/LT insulation tape varnishes etc so as to meet their original specification including ovening and heating as required complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting defective transformer indoor/outdoor of any capacity 100KVA to 400 KVA both from HT/LT sides, and then drainage of complete transformer oil, opening of top cover with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then lifting of core by means of tripod and chain pulley with due care for inspection and ascertain it’s serviceability state after keeping it aside. Removal of all sludge and unwanted material from tank and core, lowering of core assembly after carrying out required repairs to the winding and core. In case the repairs which are not possible at site then the transformer has to be taken to the work shop for repairs. Note :- (i)The cost of transportation shall be paid separately. (ii)The cost of rewinding shall be paid separately. (iii)The cost of dehydration/filtration & other necessary repair as directed shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of Sch’A’ (iv) Any additional transformer oil, if required will be filled by contractor and shall be paid under appropriate item.(v) The cost of assembling after complete repair are included in the rate quoted in this item.

M & L, replacement of air breather assembly any type complete filled with silica gel all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L, replacement of dial type temprature meter as per sample all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old surface of transformer 11KV/433V for painting externally including fins/radiators removal of all rust/oil/grease and unwanted material and then two coats of synthetic enamel metallic paint by means of spray gun at site of installation of transformer complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge suitable for transformer of capacity up to 200 KVA

Dehydration/centrifuging of transformer oil by means centrifuging machine electrically operated at site of installation of transformer in running condition of transformer including testing of transformer oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer at 4mm gap the BDV should not be less than be 40KV complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge. Note:- For electric supply to dehydrating equipment/machine ,contractor has to arrange generator set of required capacity at site.

M & L, for tinkaring, welding, denting / Painting to damage door and MS iron framework, inculding hinges of door, nuts, bolts, washers, welding and locking arrangement. Bending cold and hot Driling hole for bolts, in any size as required or directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide primer one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic enameled paint with existing colour and having letter writing (required instruction) in white/ Red paint, complete and taking out to existing old U/S MCCBs, Bus bar from LT panel carefully and replacement with new one aluminium lugs to incoming and out going LT cable, complete servicing testing and commissioning in all respect al as directed. Note: (a)Excavation work and MCCBs will be measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule . (b) Shifting of LT panel if required to new location as directed alongwith making all LT connections are included in the rate quoted in this item.

Supplying, streching and fixing in replacement of over head ACSR conductor any size ie. weasel,Ferret,and Dog and any type fixing on iron steel tubular pole including binding/jointing the conductor to insulator with and incl 14 SWG binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, for galvanized steel wire 3.15 mm or4mm dia continous earth wire on pole or guard wire for protecting fallen overhead conductor incuding winding wire of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Restreching only over head ACSR conductor / earth wire of any size and type single phase system comprising of two conductors/wire over steel tubular poles, incl opening, streching, binding and jointing the conductor to insulater with and incl 14 SWG binding wire and tape the jumper complete all as specified and directed.

Restreching only over head ACSR conductor / earth wire of any size and type three phase system comprising of four conductors/wire over steel tubular poles, incl opening, streching, binding and jointing the conductor to insulater with and incl 14 SWG binding wire and tape the jumper complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement pin type porcelain,vitreous, white,brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle , two galvanised iron washer and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height 65mm dia, 1100V grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M&L in replacement for pin type porcelain vitreous white or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanized iron washer and one galvanized iron washer and one galvanized iron nut 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete as specified & directedby Engr in Charge.

M&L for disc type insulator porcelain various 145 mm height and 255 mm dia ball and socket type white, brown or green two in series as assembly tension with tension clamps for conductor working pressure 11000 volts all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old unserviceable PCC/Tubular pole and struts of any size including clamps insulators, cross arms etc of any type complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.00 mtr long) complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Required earth work, PCC foundation and pole painting will be paid seperately under relevant items of Sch A

M&L for preparation of old treated surface of existing steel tubular poles 8/9/11 mtr long ( upto 1.20 mtr from coping/ground level(whichever is on upper side)) but incl brackets, clamp cross arms etc with two coat of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer incl writing MES No. complete as specified and directed.

Dismantiling stay assembly complete all as specified and as directed

Supply & fixing stay assembly complete with all accessories, such as stay plate 300x300x6mm, stay rod 215cm long and 20 mm dia with nuts including GI bow turn buckle etc., all as per Electrical plate No 1 or SSR -2009 Part I complete all as specified and as directed. Note. Loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation, PCC will be measured and paid separaely.

M&L for loop type insulators vitreous porcelain white, brown or green large size with overall dimensions 65x90 mm clearance of hole 25.5 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of 50 sqmm to 95 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of old U/S HT armoured cable and Supply and lay XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire axmoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts, grade cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the unserviceable under ground cable, taking out the same and supplying, laying, commisioning and testing of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated PVC sheathed steel armoured aluminum stranded conductor LT UG cable ( Conforming to IS 1554) in trenches / ducts / through GI pipes under roads of size 25 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specifed and directed. Note;- The earth work, GI pipe if required shall be measured and paid sepretely under appropriate item of Sch A

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes ) in soft/disintegrated soil each n exc 0.5 cum getting out returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not execeeding 25 cm , watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface complete all as specifed and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/disintegrated soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying UG cable/foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soft/disintegrated soil including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm each layer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, 25x20cm size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of lightning arresters expulsion type for 11 KV HT complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and install maintenance free battery 12V , 150AH including suitable size copper terminals complete all as specified and directed

S & F paper chart 1.5 mtr x 1.5 mtr made the diagram of external electric supply and external water supply of MES cantt and description of equipment chart with proper color coding as directed and font size of 40 mm computerised colour printing ( As per sample kept in AGE E/M office) duly aluminium framed of appropriate size covered with 2.8 mm thick glass sheet complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for writing MES/SM No on E/M electrical equipments such as VCB/Transformer or in new MS sheets of size 40cmx40cm duly fixed with nut and bolts on poles etc with size of letters not less than 5 cm and also writing "11 KV MRS GE Lansdowne" in MRS wall on font size,shape and color as directed by Engineer-in charge complete all as specified and directed.
