Excavating over areas not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out as in any type of soil complete all as specified directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item No,1& 2 : (i) Excavation shall be done manually only. (ii) During excavation if any type of B/R ,E/M services are disrupted /damaged ,it shall be responsibility of contractor to repair it at his own cost and nothing extra shall be payable by the Department .

Returning filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and as directed/.

Removing excavated material/soil out side MD land and deposited out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Location of disposing material/soil outside Mod land should be decided by contractor at his own descretions.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation, sub base, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

M& L for RCC M25 (Design Mix) for foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for RCC M-25 (design mix) as in walls, retaining walls, basement walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses for box type of culvert complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for RCC M-25 (design mix) as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in the shelves and drain covers casted on site and placed on required location the like complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for formwork to sides of flat concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to flat faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railing and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to better complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work (Horizontal or sloping) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L TMT bars 8mm dia & over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with the including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for RCC M-25 (design mix) for providing precast cement concrete in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid respectively under respective items.

S&F Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165

Material and labour for prepartion of steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using power roller exc 8.0 Tonne and n.exc 12.0 Tonne all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick (spread thickness) Soling (or sub base) with broken stone boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and considered to required gradient and camber rolled using power roller exc 8.0 Tonne and n.exc 12.0 Tonne all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick (compacted thickness ) in two layers of 75 mm thick Each Layer WBM with Limestone, sand stone, Flint or Quartzite 2 (63mm to 40mm size) or of grading 3 ( 50mm to 20mm size) spread,rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller.

Preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc ,sweeping with brooms and finally fanning with gunny bages to loose all dirt etc comlete as directed.

M&L applying evenly priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10Kg/10Sqm with paving bitumen any penetration.

M&L bituminus dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness bitumen VG 30 with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient as directed.

Demolition of bituminous concrete surface of n.exc 0,5m deep and getting out all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for cutting openings through walls for door, window and other openings or enlarging existing openings, etc or cutting out defective stone masonry for underpinning including providing, fixing and removing, shoring, cleaning and stacking stone and removing surplus to store and rubbish outside MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (old masonry wall built in cement mortar).

M & L for forming jambs, etc to openings (to foregoing item) with stone obtained from cutting opening including cutting, toothings and properly bonding inot old work, including facing and pointing (if necessary) to match existing work, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (New work built in cement mortar 1:4).

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in cm 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surface other than fair face of brick work or on one side of lathing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
