BILL -3 SUBBASE AND BASE COURSES
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material conforming to grading-V of table 400-1, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of Technical Specifcations.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Drawings and Technical Specification Clause 406.
BILL-4 PAVEMENT COURSES (FLEXIBLE+RIGID)
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means all complete as per Clause 502.2
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg/sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom all complete as per Clause 503.
Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam Using Grade 2 Table 500-10 with minimum 4.5% of VG-30 grade of bitumen by weight of fresh aggregate and required quantity of additional bitumen for the RAP as per mix design in accordance with IRC 120-2015, filler (cement) @2% by weight of RAP complete as per Drawings and Technical specification clause 519 (Recycling pavement by cold milling of existing bituminous layers, planing the surface after cold milling, reclaiming excavated material to the extent of 30 per cent of the required quantity, hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 505 & 519) Note The Binder content specified shall be minimum 4.5 % and the filler content shall be minimum 2% but will conform to requirement as per JMF. No additional cost shall be paid to the actual Binder Content as required in JMF
Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam Grade II with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects. Note : The Binder content specified shall be minimum 4.5 % but will conform to requirement as per JMF. No additional cost shall be paid to the actual Binder Content as required in JMF.
