SHOP ELECTRICAL Supply, install, test & commissioning LT distribution panel board (indoor type) with design as per IS of suitable size factory made CPRI approved made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet indoor type totally enclosed weather dust and vermin proof as per IS, CPRI approved with front opening suitable locking arrangement having aluminium bus bar of 600 Amps capacity for RYB and half for neutral and insulated with insulators including connecting incoming and outgoing cables necessary PCC 1:3:6 in foundation and made out of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm angle iron grouted at ground above 30 cm from ground level comprising of the following etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of necessary internal wiring from bus bar to MCCBs / MCBs / enclosure connections etc, shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.

(u) Counter weight shall be cast iron or as recommended by OEM. Note: (i) The contractor shall submit the drawings alongwith data & design calculation, technical specification of goods lift before obtainning sample approval from the Accepting Officer. (ii) All systems, controls and devices as per standards, codes, acts of lifts safety norms shall deemed to be included in quoted rate. The cost effect of testing and obtaining staturday certificate from lifts inspector before commissioning by department shall deemed to bed included in the rate quoted.

(iii) The lift installed shall be taken over by the department only after producing the clearance of authorized lift inspector by bidder. The bidder has to consider this element while quoting the rates and no extra claim if any shall be entertained at a later stage.

(iv) Contractor shall note that the defects liability period for lift shall be two years from the certified date of completion as certified by AGE (I). During the said defects liability period, the lift shall be kept functional serviceable all the time and all consummable items shall also be provided by the contractor for satisfactory running of the lift. (v) Car and slide doors shall be made of SS 304 grade.

M&L for re-routing of existing XLPE LT UG cable 1100 v grade of size 3.5 core 400 sqmm (2 runs in same trench) in service this includes taking out LT cable from site by carefully excavation and removal from ground with out any damage to existing cable and relaying the same cable in different location complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, return filling, sand cushioning, removal including PCC measured and paid seperately under relevant item of this BOQ & Schedule.

Note for Sl item Nos. 110 to 112: (i) Separate skilled man power shall be employed against comprehensive maintenance. (ii) The contractor shall submit a maintenance through OEM of lift installed at site, maintenance schedule for the entire period of 03 years as per original lift manufacturer for all type of maintenance. (iii) During the defect liability period, the contractor shall be liable to maintain the lifts. Any repair / replacement of defective parts shall be carried out by the contractor free of cost which shall include regular maintenance as per lift manufacturers instructions.

(iv) The quoted rates shall deemed to cover the services round the clock (24x7) complaint booking on given telephone numbers. Complaints shall be attended on the same day. In case, the contractor fails to do so, a penalty of Rs.1,000.00 per day complaint for the delayed period shall be recovered from the payments of the contractor. (v) Any breakdown (major or minor) shall be attended even after working hours and keep the lifts in working condition. The replacement of any parts (major or minor) which shall include control panel, brakes, any type of battery, infrated curtain, motor, cabin internal, ARD with battery, rope, guides, V3F driver and panels etc., shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

(vi) The work of comprehensive maintenance shall be carried out by the original lift manufacturer only. All man power employed for repair and supervision shall be employed from original manufacturer. (vii) All fees toward annual inspection of lift by the competent authority as per Act / Rule i.e. lift inspector shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (viii) The operation of lifts shall be done for users at NPOL Kochi. (ix) All manufacturers instructions shall be prepared and briefed to NPOL authorities and Standing Operative Procedure (SOP) shall be printed and placed inside the lifts including necessary safety precautions.
