Phase - II (M&O FOR STP) Round the clock manning and operation of both sewage treatment plant including all components and items as mentioned in BOQ (2 MLD & 100 KLD STP) here in before in the premises of both STP Viz DG Sets, Panels, Valves and other measuring and control devices and Operator cum blower room & pump house etc including additives, consumables as required for running of sewage treatment plant but excluding diesel and electricity but including maintenance together with repair and replacement of spares of pump sets, starters, MCCBs, MCBs, relays, varnishing of Motor, wiring of panel, Valves, pipes etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The defect liability period of STP work is two years. Therefore the rates of repair and replacement of spares etc are not included under this item.

NOTE FOR SERIAL ITEM NO. 84.00 (a) The following minimum staff shall be deployed by the contractor at site:- (i) 1 operator in each shift of 8 hrs (3 shift per day)(Total 3 operation per day). The operator shall be ITI qualified in relevant trade with 2-3 yrs experience. (ii) 1 helper cum sweeper in each shift of 8 hrs ( 2 shift per day) (Total 2 helper per day). (b) Fortnightly testing of treated sewage shall be carried out for the parameters as specified in CA which shall be submitted along with each RAR, cost towards this shall be demed to be included in the units rate quoted. (c) All consumables media and additives including hypo solution shall be provided by the contractor except power, diesel and water which same shall be provided by the department by the free of cost. (d) Plant surroundings shall be kept neat & clean by the contractor. (e) Contractor shall operate and maintain the plant as per the instructions given in the operation manual and shall carry out routine, Annual and breakdown maintenance of the equipment of the system including daily, weekly, monthly, quartely, half yearly and yearly preventive maintenance. (f) Contractor shall maintain the record of attendance for his workmen and staff. (g) Contractor shall dispose off all sludge to the area specified by the engineer -in -charge with in range of 2 KM of STP site. (h) Contractor shall maintain all electrical installations provided under this contract as per IE rules / standered engineering practice. (j) The cost of all consumables (except electricity and diesel) like media and additives, cost of monthly chemical consumption for STP laboratory etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.
