SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF OCB TO VCB AT MRS ROORKEE UNDER GE ROORKEE

Taking out after disconneting electrically and mechanically carefully, unserviceable existing OCB (Oil circuit breaker) any make and type with all connected items/ accessories and deposit to E&M Store yard including trasportation, loading and unloading upto EM Yard complete all as directed by Engr in charge.

M & L Design, manufacture, testing, supply, receiving, unloading, storing, inspection, handling, assembling, installing in correct assigned position, effecting proper connections, testing and commissioning of HT panel 1 way consisting of 11 KV, 800 Amps, 18/18.4 kA extensible Indoor type VCB's, metal clad drawout type , The VCB shall be enclosed in CRCA sheet enclosure, copper bus bar enclosed in robotically welded and tested as per latest IEC standard incl connecting to existing VCB/OCB any Make available at site all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting required at site:- Note 1: Contractor shall visit site to access existing system of VCB/OCB's before quoting rate for above item. Note 2: Rep of accepting officer will visit factory of manufacturer and all expenses shall be borne by contractor and these are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate. Incomer VCB :- (a) Fabrication. 11 KV 1000 A Copper bus bar indoor panel board with following jumpers 1000 A and adaptor box for connecting existing panel complete all as specified and directed by EIC - 01 No (b) VCB- 11 KV, 18/18.4kA/1Sec electronic draw out VCB of rating 800Amp incl earthing truck Make: Schneider Model HVX or Equivalent in ABB/Seimens.

NOTE: (i) The unit rate includes earth strip and protection pipe upto (maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate) earth point/test point.and earth repaort shall be submitted by Contractor to EIC. (ii) Additional Chemical compound is deemed to be included in the above item no extra payment will be made in this account to achieve earth resistance less than 1 ohm.

M & L Copper strip 32 x 6 mm including provision of copper nut and bolts for fixing on wall at intervals of one metre apart, including taking down existing copper strip, complete all as directed and as specified.

Supply laying & testing cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, 11000 volts grade, of size 3 core 150 sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old rusted galvanized iron pipe and providing galvanized pipe 100 mm bore light grade in trenches / road / nallah or fixed along wall/ pole including mild steel clamps, screws etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches/post holes in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipes and for poles/stay and struts not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out, excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying sand river for cushioning with layers of sand 8 cm before lying of cable and 15 cm after lying of cable (total 23 cm) in trenches complete all as specified & directed. ( Note: Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment )

Supply & Laying in replacement of reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, flat size 300x180x40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for removing of existing cable and rerouting in underground the same cable and returning filling (including old bricks/cable covers) the same after rerouting/same trenches in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old retrieved reusable bricks will be used for laying of cable.
