MASONRY WORK

STEEL WORK
Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.
GI Tubular TATA or equvalent
Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.
In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works
Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, bufing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
FLOORING
Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing , curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Polished Granite stone slab of colour Black, Cherry/Ruby Red or equivalent
Supplying and paving best quality highly compressed exterior grade floor paving tiles in footpath & courtyard, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and cleaning etc. complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand).
ROOFING
Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
Providing and fixing multi walled transparent /opaque 10 mm thick polycarbonate sheet of required colour blue, brown or green etc. UV co-extruded and having UV coating on one side multi walled sheet of weight not less than 1.60 to 2.05kg/sqm as approved by Engineer-in-charge. The light transmission from transparent or translucent or opaque polycarbonate sheet varies from 30 to 80% and shall be decided by engineer in charge as per requirement. The panel shall satisfy the Dart drop impact test for value above 15 and upto 60 Joules and confirm either fame retardancy of class UL-94HB/94V-0 category as per ISI4434:2023 or category VO & HB as per ASTM D635-I8 or BSI DO classification as per EN13501 for fire safety. The yellowness index tested as per ASTM E313 (DI925) shall be less than or equal to 2 or it shall be I units as per ASTM D 2244 at the time of installation and shall be less than or equal to 10 as per ASTM E313 (1) 1925) or 6 units as per ASTM D 2244 on a sample after 5000 Hours of exposure of UV / sun light. The multi walled poly carbonate sheet shall he fixed on tubular steel structure with aluminium Alcox section of size 60x18x2 mm (anodized 25 micron thick) and weight not less than 0.462 kg/metre. Weather proof Neoprene/ EPDM rubber gasket shall be fixed on both side of joints to make the whole structure water tight as per approved design/drawings. The aluminium section shall be fxed on Joints at both sides (top & bottom) of polycarbonate sheet to hold the sheets rigidly together. The weather proof neoprene gasket and aluminium profile shall be fixed and sealed with silicon sealant to make the Joints fully water proof. The open overhead ends of polycarbonate sheet to be sealed with anodised aluminium U Profile/ channel of size 10x10x 1.5 mm thick of weight not less than 0.2kg/m. The polycarbonate sheet and aluminium profile shall be fixed to MS Framed Structure with self-taping and self-drilling 55mm long steel screws to be fixed @ 300mm centre to centre. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all material involved such as polycarbonate sheet, aluminium profile and aluminium channel, EPDM gasket, Self-taping screws, nut bolts, Silicon sealant or any other material required for fixing the sheet but excluding the cost of steel structure which shall be paid separately including hoisting the sheets and fixing in position in required scaffolding shape. The rate shall also include the cost of all T & P scafolding and safety precautions required during execution of the work. The entire work shall be executed

Providing and fixing false ceiling with PVC panel board in aluminium frame work with necessary edge/intermediate trims, clips, screws, etc. complete (aluminium framework shall be paid separately)

FINISHING
Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.
On steel work
Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.
Two coats
Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content.
With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre
Melamine polishing on wood work (one or more coat).
Finishing Floors with premium floor guard (Apex floor guard or equivalent) with Silicone additives of required shade:
One or more coats applied as per manufacturer specifications
REPAIRS TO BUILDING
Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Dismantling and Demolishing
Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material outside campus as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.
Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (including equivalent design mix)
ALUMINIUM WORK
Providing and fixing powder coated aluminium work (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) consisting of tee/ angle sections, of approved make conforming to IS : 733 in frames of false ceiling including aluminium angle cleats with necessary C.P. brass/ stainless steel sunk screws, aluminium perimeter angles fixed to wall with stainless steel rawl plugs @ 450 mm centre to centre and fixing the frame work to G.I. level adjusting hangers 6 mm dia. with necessary cadmium plated machine screws all complete as per approved architectural drawings and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (level adjusting hangers, ceiling cleats and expansion hold fasteners to be paid for separately).
Providing and fixing 6 mm dia. G.I. level adjusting hangers (upto 1200 mm length), fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40x3 mm size 60 mm long and stainless steel expandable dash fastener of 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long, complete as per direction of Engineer- in-charge.
CONSERVATION OF HERITAGE BUILDINGS
Applying breathable, non-reactive, antifungal, and water repellant Silane/ Siloxane chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineer-in-charge, of approved brand and manufacture, diluted with solvent mineral Turpentine oil in the ratio of 1:12 (One part of approved chemical :12 Part of Turpentine oil), on the existing sand stone masonry surface with two or more coats to give uniform application of chemical on the surface, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).
Supply installation testing and commissioning of backlit name board for department as per design finalised by engineer in charge
Supply installation and testing of building name/department name lettering of given size as per instruction of engineer in charge
