RequiredThe bidders should not be a defaulter or a black listed firm in respect of any tender or contract in any of the Government departments/authorities/PSUs or companies The bidder should furnish a self declaration in this regard in Company letterhead.

RequiredThe firm/ company/ contractor should be conversant with all labour rules and Regulations and EPF & MP Act, ESI Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Contract Labour Act etc. In this regard a Self declaration certificate in the company letterhead shall be furnished.

Eligibility Criteria

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The firm / company/ organization should not be facing any judicial trial or departmental enquiry. The firm should submit self-declaration in support of this.

All documents are to be scanned in original & uploaded to the e-portal and the same documents attested by the gazetted officer and produced to the Port Engineer, on or before the opening of the technical bid. Tender inviting authority

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

The successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Port Engineer, during office hours on all working days

The cost of the Tender processing fees shall not be refundable

Any reputed Individual/ company registered with BBMP/CPWD/ KPWD/ Railways/ MES or any State Government Organization is eligible to apply.

The Tender is a Two Cover System.

All documents to be scanned in original & uploaded to the e-portal and the same documents attested by the gazetted officer and produced to the Port Engineer, on or before opening of technical bid. Tender inviting authority reserves right to verify the uploaded documents in e-portal with original documents before acceptance. If the tenderer fails to produce the attested document with original documents for verification and EMD in original before opening of technical bid, such tender will be rejected as a non-response.

Bidder should quote service charges in rupees, which should not be less than 3% (As per the proceedings of Honourable Deputy Commissioner, Uttara Kannada, Karwar Dated: 09.06.2022) and not more than 5%, the bidder who quotes the lowest service charges on the amount put to tender (APT) will be considered as L1.

Tender inviting authority reserves the rights to reject or accept any one or all tenders at any stage of the tender, which will be binding on all bidders.

There is no EMD exemption for Micro and Small Enterprise (MSME).

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The Tenderer shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer (District Level Officer) and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid. The Original Certificate/Certificates shall be produced at the time of agreement for physical verification

Authorities Or Local bodies Or Govt. PSUs. Performance certificate from these organizations shall be furnished.

Capabilities of Vendor

Availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs. 41.60 Lakhs (Credit lines/ letter of credit/ certificates from banks for meeting the fund requirement etc). The banker certificate shall be as prescribed under SECTION:3 BANKERS CERTIFICATE.
