1 Dehydration including filtration and cleaning of transformer oil at No 7 power house by stream line method dehydration plant including testing of samples before and after dehydration and filtration, Dielectric strength should not be less than 45 KV at 2.5 mm gap after dehydration all as directed. Note:- (i) Test result before and after filtration to be recorded as per the sample provided by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of making necessary connection and the connection to filtration plant from transformer and switch gear oil duly removing the inlet and outlet connections. (iii) For topping up transformer oil will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule. 280 Lts 2 Supply and top up of insulating transformer oil conforming to IS 335 1993 latest amendments for relacing the oil in transformers with breaking capacity not less than 45kv all as specified and directed. – 80 Ltrs 3 Repair of transformer fins completes set suitable of cap 160 KVA including bending the unserviceable fins from transformer and repair of the fins at site and welding, same to the transformer after replacement and making the transformer fully serviceable and fully functional after the replacement of the fins within the time as specified and directed by EIC. Note Transformer oil wasted in the process will be refilled upto the max marked levelled at transformer by the contractor after repair of the fins at No extra cost. 1 Each Job 4. Periodical maintenance of air break gang operated switches capacity 200 Amps fixed on two pole structure / four pole structure after taking down proper electric shut down with all precaution from MPH tightening all jumpers, PG clamps, connection after taking proper shut down with all precaution including painting all steel structure by applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer, greasing and replacement male and female contract, wire mesh strip, drop out fuses, locking arrangement by unscrewing nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 1 Job 5 Servicing the 11 KV GOD by cleaning the contract, disc/pin insulator with CTC & applying the petroleum jelly at the contact point/ down rod links for smooth operation including replacing the rusted/corrected bolts &nuts and defective insulator of GOD as required at site. Make M seal / denson – 1 Each 9 Replacement of defective worn-out HT bushing rod (stud) complete made of copper / brass with nuts and washers oil seal including threading at both ends for HT bushing transformer outdoor/ in door of various sizes up to 160 KVA as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 2 Each 10 Preparation of old painted surface of transformer by scrubbing out cleaning and painting with two coats of spray paint & one coat primer heat resistant metallic smoke grey paint complete metallic painting including writing MES No on transformer body with black paint for the following capacity transformer all as specified and directed (a) Transformer 160 KVA 1 Each Job 11 Disconnecting all the electrical connections from HT and LT side of unserviceable transformer of cap up to 160 KVA i.e jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers, loading and unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the repairing workshop including reinstallation, commissioning and testing complete. – 1 Each Job 12 Opening the transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nut bolts then after removing the internal HT & LT connection by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, cleaning of core assembly with CTC including necessary repairs of transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC for the transformer. Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and remove all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal HT & LT connection by fixing the studs, bushings, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, of transformer of capacity 160 KVA all as specified and directed. 1 Each job Note:- (i) U/S items required for repairs shall be measured and paid under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 40KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Following Routine test to be carried out at work shop : (a) IR value. (b) High voltage test. (c) Ratio test. (d) Short circuit test. € BD value of oil. 13 Transporting to burnt out transformer for repair to civil workshop, and any type of T & P will be required for shifting of transformer will be provided by Contractor and strip opening of transformer and removing the top cover for repair, and taking out the burnt out core alongwith HT/LT coil (windings), assembling the core after replacement of HT/LT coils heating varnishing, testing and housing accessories in transformer body and connection up filling in dehydrated transformer oil and connection with existing electrical system HT/LT and commissioning complete on load of capacity not exceeding 200 KVA. (Transformer oil will be measured and paid separately). 1 Each 14 Winding of HT/LT coil of different type, capacity and make of transformer with approved quality supper enameled copper wire/strips of approved make of suitable gauge and number of turns along with allied materials like cork sheet, fiber glass insulations, paper insulations, cotton / Empire tap and tube wooden blocks bots, nuts and washer (Brass) soldering and other packing material etc. all as required at site or directed by Engr-in-Charge. 95 Kg
