Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for Rural Roads August, 2004 (Two Thousand Four),C-1603.1, 1603.2 (Clause - One Thousand Six Hundred Three point One, One Thousand Six Hundred Three point Two) to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places. in specified manner, systematically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth plying of traffic. All useful material such as stones, shingle, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side not less than 7.29 cubic metre in all cases, failing which recovery at the rate of Rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.including haulage of mateial with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal , dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 Nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement is to three sand is to six graded stone aggregate) including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 nominal mix C.C. 1:6:12 ( one cement is to six sand is to twelve graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 nominal mix C.C. 1:4:8 ( one cement is to four sand is to eight graded stone aggregate) including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 900(nine hundred) mm dia reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular materials in single row including fixing excluding excavation protection work, back filling concrete and masonary work in head walls and parapets clause 1108 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 1203 in PCC grade M-20 in 1:2:4 (one cement is to two sand is to four grade stone aggregate nominal size ) including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete in superstrucutre complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,804,805,806,807,1202 and 1204 R.C.C. grade M-25) 1:1.5:3 (one cement is to one point five sand is to three grade stone aggregate nominal size )including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts , including all incidental charges.

Supplying, fitting , and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstrucutre complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 1002,1010 and 1202 including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts , including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1303. including all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge

Back filling behind abutment wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing & technical specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying boulder apron for bed protection with stone boulders of minimum size and weight as per Table 1300.1, no fragment weighing less than 25 kg laid dry complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301including all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge

Providing weep holes in bricks/stone masonery plain/reinforced concrete abutment wing wall return wall with 100mm dia PVC pipe extended through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 vertical and 20 in horizental towards drawing face complete as per specification clause 614,709,1204,3.7. including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to combor (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. specifications.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the requested gradient and comber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 (zero point four zero) sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment as per technical Specification Clause 307 including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges.
