In order to carrry out the inspection and maintenance of all the radial gates complete system related to lowering of step-log gate shall be provided including the stop-log gate segments, embedded componenets, lifting beam & air vent pipe as well as the moving gantry crane. Stop-log gating system shall conform to IS 9349. The gantry crane shall conform to IS 3177 and the seals shall conform to IS 11855

The trash racks may be provided at the entrance of intake to protect turbines against entry of debries in to the water conducting system. The trash racks shall conform to IS 11388.

Power Intake gate (2m x 2.15m) conforming to IS 4622 may be provided at intake structure. The power gate shall be operated by independent rope drum hoist conforming to IS 6938. The associated seals shall conform to IS 11855. The intake service gate shall usually remain open to feed water to the powerhouse. The intake service gate shall be designed for opening the closing under unbalaced head conditiones.

Intake bulkhead gate conforming to IS 4622 may be provided at the upstream of intake service gate to undertake maintenance of the intake service gate. The Intake Bulkhead Gate shall be operated by independent rope drum hoist conforming to IS 6938. The associated seals shall conform to IS 11855. The intake Bulkhead Gate shall to be closed under unbalaned head conditions & lifting under under balaned head.

Diversion Tunnel gate (4.05m x 8.1m) conforming to IS 4622 may be provided at intake structure. Diversion Tunnel Gate shall be operated by independent rope drum hoist conforming to IS 6938. The associated seal shall conform to IS 11855. The Diversion Tunnel gate shall usually remain open to feed water to the powerhouse. The Diversion Tunnel gate shall be designed for opening and closing under unbalanced head conditions.

Fabrication, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Penstock of diameter 1.2m to 1.7m and having length of 153m approx (material ASTM A-537)

All readial gates shall be provided with SCADA enabled individual hoisting system. Radial gates shall conform to IS 4623
