Soil investigation by Auger method to carryout bore holes with 150 mm diameter shell and auger equipment in all sort of soil max 10.00 mtr depth including one Nuber Trial Pit (Size 1.20x1.20), 5.00mtr away from BH (Both centrally placed). Collection of disturbed, undisturbed samples in 75 mm thin dia wall tube sample from bore holes (one bore at each location) and conducting suitable laboratory test as per relevant IS code mentioned below : (a) Following lab test to be conductedon disturb soil sample as per relevent Specification of IS 2720. (i) Sieve analysis & Grain Size Distribution by Sieve analysis & hydrometer test (ii) Atterberg's limits (iii) NMC (iv) GSA (v) Bulk Denity/ dry density (b) Following lab test to be conducted on undisturbed soil sample as per relevant Specification of IS 2720. (i) Natural moisture Content. (ii) Bulk density (iii) Specific gravity (iv) Free swell index and swelling properties of soil. (v) Organic matter in soil, if any. (vi) Consolidation test (compression Index Value). (vii) Triaxial Compression test and determination of shear properties. (viii) Harmful salt. (c) Ground water Talbe HFL (d) carrying out field califomia Bearing ratio (CBR) value at specified site as directed by Engr-in-Charge in tabular form as per IS. (e) Safe bearing capacity at 1.0 mtr. 1.5 mtr, 2.0 mtr in tabular form as under as per IS 8009 (pt 1) 1976, (t-11)-1960, IS 2720 (PT-II) 1960, IS 6403-1986 & IS 1080-1985 and other relevent IS code:- In case bearing capacity is low i.e. less than 1.5 KN/ SQM. It should also be given at a depth of 2.5 mtr. (c) Ground water Table & HFL The following perameter will form part of Geo EXPLOR10RRReport be submitted by the soil consultants. (a) RL of the Ground level I Foundation level with ref to a BM should invarialby be mentioned in the soil investigation report. (b) Recommendatioin of SBC should be given as per relevent IS code (c) Video graphic record & Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall essentially from part of the. (d) Recommendation as regard possiblity off liquefaction of soil in case of saturated of partially saturated loose/ uncomplicated sandy soils (e) Swellin index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil & its depth "layers" (f) Depth of groundwater talbe in peak monsoon & peak summer after correlation of result with seasonal variation of water table in station (g) Recommendation fo filing under floors (h) A detailed site plan showing the outline of the proposed building and approx. location each borehole duly numbered as per log bore hole showld be enclosed. Location of foundation of adjacent structures, especially those that might be impacted by the proposed construction should be indicated with details site plan.
