M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) etc rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller etc. complete all as specified and directed

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100mm deep and removing to distance not exceeding 50m and stacking etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed laid with mechanical paver and 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen 4% binder (viscosity grade VG-30) contents complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Work shall be executed as per designed mix (job mix formula) approved by GE. (ii) If the bitumen content as per design mix found to be less than 4%, it shall be recovered at the rate of Rs 60/- per Kg for short of bitumen. If bitumen content found to be more than 4% as per design mix same shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm etc including providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with mechanical paver, mixed at hot mix plant transported to site in tippers, chipping mixed with 5.5% of paving binder (VG-30) viscosity grade, rolled to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Work shall be executed as per job mix formula approved by Garrison Engineer (ii) Bitumen content as per design mix is found to be less than 5.5%, the short of bitumen shall be recovered at the rate of Rs 60/- per Kg and no adjustment shall be made if the bitumen content as per design mix found to be more than 5.5% same shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and preparing the road surfaces for road marking with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint conforming to BIS 3262, laid through road marking machine in a layer painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and like with road marking paint, white or golden yellow of CRYSTALEX, using 5 Kg material per square meter by incorporating the white glass beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width, etc complete all as specified & directed.
