Servicing, maintenance, testing and calibration of process control valves during MTA-2021: Removal from pipe line and shifting of control valves from field to service center carefully without any damage. Servicing of control valves by dismantling valve body and actuator, overhauling, cleaning, inspection and replacement of gland packing, repairing of valve bodies and trim components/ replacing the damage parts after careful inspection, replacement of diaphragms, piston ring and O rings of actuator if required, re-assembly & alignment of valve along with diaphragm operated / piston operated actuator & other related accessories. Testing of assembled control valve with actuator for seat leakage, gland leakage, body pressure test (hydro test), actuator leakag testing and rectification of seat and gland leakage, wherever required , to the acceptable conditions as decided by the engineer-in-charge of HWP(K). Alignment and calibration of tested control valves including servicing of its positioner are to be carried out. After the control valve is passed successfully through the tests and calibration, it should be painted by the approved paint and tag number of the control valve is to be re-written in block letters and numbers neatly on actuators and positioners including marking of the direction of flow. Hand wheel and gearboxes are to be maintained, greasing and oiling of the parts are to be done, wherever required. After painting and tag numbering , the valve should be carefully handled and shifted to location and installed at the designated place in the line.
