Drilling of 50mm dia holes in the existing RCC/ Metre C C bed Block/ Brick/ Stone masonry/ trestle beams of piers to a depth varying from 650 mm to 1200mm with pneumatic driller, compressor, core cutting etc., and making the hole surface fit for insertion of bolts for grouting and also as directed by the Engineer in charge with all lead and lift. (All labour and materials by the contractor) BILASPUR DIVISION-ENGINEERING/SOUTH EAST CENTRAL RLY
Manufacture and supply of galvanized MS steel Kg section of following items at bridge site including all lead and lift and also as directed by Engineer in - charge. ( All labour and materials b y contractor )Manufacture and supply of galvanized MS galvanized bolts of size 32/28/25 mm dia with threaded at both ends of varying lengths including nuts, check nuts, washers etc., (Bolts should conform to relevant IS code and got to be tested from recognized institution before supply) at Bridge site including all lead and lift and also as directed by the Engineer in charge. (All labour and materials by the contractor).
Pressure grouting the 50 mm dia holes by epoxy Metre grouting at a minimum pressure of 7 Kg/cm2 consists of approved quality of epoxy resin hardner and thinner (Araldite and Aradur make) by suitable proportions by weight including fillers such as quartz sand (sand content can be adjusted to suit the consistency required) etc., and as recommended by the manufacturer. The grouting should be carried out duly securing the bolts in position including all operations as per bridge code for epoxy grouting and making scaffolding arrangements and also as directed by the Engineer-in-charge with all lead and lift. (All labour, materials, tools and plant like pneumatic driller equipment, pressure injection, air compressor, portable generator etc., by the contractor. Payment for bolts and nuts will be paid under separate item. The contractor supply items such as epoxy resins and hardner should be provided with necessary test certificates for pot life test, strength test and shear test from approved test houses. The rate is also inclusive of providing working platform arrangements around pier while execution.)
Fabrication, galvanizing and supply of Extention Kg frame consists of ISMC/ISMB or MS Plate or any other built up section as per approved drawing including drilling holes of required size and quantity in the plate and as well as in the stool to match the existing holes in the approved drawing with all lead and lift and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge ( All labour and materials by the contractor. Payment will be made only after supply is made at bridge site.)
Erection of prefabricated stool /Extension frame/ Kg buildup section consists of ISMC/ISMB with MS plate and MS cleats (at bottom) in the trestle beams of piers including leading the materials from bridge approaches and fixing the same with the already grouted bolts in the trestle beams. The stool shall be fitted with nuts, check nut, washers and also MS angle, cleats ( at bottom ) with necessary scaffolding as any other suitable arrangements and also as directed by the Engineer-in-charge with all lead and lift ( All labours and materials by contractor. Payment for bolts, nuts, check nut, washers and also MS angle cleats will be paid under separate item ) BILASPUR DIVISION-ENGINEERING/SOUTH EAST CENTRAL RLY
Drilling of 4 nos of 50mm dia holes in the cut Set water portion in RCC bed block/ Brick/ Stone masonry (2 side of pier) of piers to a depth varying from 500mm to 600mm with pneumatic driller, compressor etc. by providing scaffolding arrangements made up of MS/GI pipes & platforms. As the height of the bridge approximately 10m and there is no sufficient working space/ working platform available in the piers and making the holes surface fit for insertion of bolts for grouting and also as directed by the Engineer in charge with all lead and lift ( All labour and materials by the contractor) Unit: Set denotes one cut water portion of the pier in the bridge.
Removing the existing steel ladders which are Each embedded in cement concrete and / or welded to the existing steel rods without any damage and re-fixing the same with necessary cement concrete bed of size 0.60 x 0.3 x0.10meter in 1:1 1/2:3 mix after drilling holes and providing holding down bolts and securing the fixing arrangements etc., with contractor's tools & plant, labour & materials, lead and lift and consumable stores like gas, oxygen cylinder, cement etc., and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Supplying and providing Epoxy Mortar similar to Sqm SIKADUR 41 over the bed block to an average thickness of 50 mm duly cleaning the surface etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge. (Including all labours, Materials, Tools and plants, consumable and scaffolding with all lead and lift etc., by the contractor) Total 14141126.64
