Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power, bell point ) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, bell push,ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc

M&L for Point wiring concealed conduit type with 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed and multi stranded copper conductor PVC conduit 20 mm bore having 2 mm wall thickness with all conduit accessories for one light /fan/buzzer/soket outlet point controlled by one switch including continuous 1.5 sqmm copper conductor, stranded (green colour as earth ,red as phase and black as neutral), PVC insulated unsheathed earth wire to common earth and connected to earth dolly to be terminated in and including suitable size module boxes alongwith modular cover plate for housing of module switches/sockets etc . . Note : Unit rates quoted by contractor shall be deemed to included for cutting chases in walls and making good in cement morter (1:3) and finishing the surface to match with exisiting surface with distemper and wall putty.

M & L for sub main wiring with two run of 1.5 Sqmm (nominal cross sectional area ) of single core unsheathed PVC (FRLS) insulated cables 1100 Volts grade multi stranded copper conductor drawn through & including non metallic rigid PVC conduit of size 19/20 mm or higher dia with & including necessary conduit accessories concealed/surface only on roof & colomn) type including one run of 1.5 Sqmm stranded copper conductor PVC (FRLS) insulated cable as earth wire connected to common earth dolly complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Two run cable and one run of earth wire shall be measured as one unit.

M&L for wiring for circuit/submain wiring in PVC Conduit along with earth wire with 2x4Sqmm+1x2.5Sqmm as earth wire of FR PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable (ISI marked) including taking down old wiring, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two run cable and one run of earth wire shall be measured as one unit.

S & F in replacement of sub-main wiring with two single core cables PVC insulated and un-sheathed 6 sqmm (Nominal Area) FRLS stranded copper conductor drawn in concealed PVC conduict dia 20mm “medium quality” conduit including 6.00 Sq mm (Nominal Area) copper cable as earth continuity conductor after chasing in wall and making good the disturbed surfaces and white wash or existing colour , necessary junction box and covers including necessary connections, PVC flexible pipes are used in pannel board while connecting the cable complete all as specified and directed . Note:- Two run cable and one run of earth wire will be measured as a one unit.

S & F for rigid non-metallic PVC conduit for segregarion of existing hanging wires ,medium grade 20 mm dia exclusive of boxes (junction/terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends,elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx 60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron wire 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel, protected by GI light grade pipe 15mm bore including GI light grade water pipe 20mm dia with funnel all as shown in electric plate No. 03 of 2009 SSR Pt-I and testing on complete including earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 as in earth pit and cover 40mm thick reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4.0Kg/Sqm) in proper shape,testing on completion, all as specified and directed. ((i) Testing shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost).

M&L for XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 10 sq. mm 2 core complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- earth work shall be measure seperately and paid as per respective shcedule item)

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 metre wide for foundations, laying cables and similar works n. exc. 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for sand cushioning for under ground cable 23cm thick (one layer of 8cm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 15cm thickness after laying the cable) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Thickness of only 18cm after punning shall be considered for payment.

M & L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed.
