REPAIR/ RE-CARPETING OF CERTAIN STRETCHES OF SUBSIDIARY/ INTERNAL ROADS ADJOINING SHOULDERS, BERMS, KERBS INCL NECESSARY ROAD FURNITURE WITHIN CANTT AT MILITARY STATION JAMNAGAR

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal,watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying a priming/tack coat @5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings.)

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc. 400 sq.m. and depth exceeding 50 mm and n exc 100mm stacking complete as directed.

Material and labour for preparing new scarified of black bituminious macadam top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud, dust etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous VG-30 grade @ 7.50 Kg per 10 Sqm all as specifief and directed.

Material and Labour premix bituminious,macadam laid/rolled and compacated to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50 mm or less) to reqd gradient using paving bitumen any penetration of binder content of 4 % (VG-30) by Weight of total mix all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous VG-30 grade @ 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour bituminous premix semi dense Asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % (bitumen VG-30) binder content weight of total mix using paving bitumen laid with mechanical paver and any penetration rolled & consolidated to required camber & gradient complete.

Material and labour Moorum/red bajri 100 mm thick (spread thickness) as in road side shoulders, spread rolled and compacted to using power roller exc 8 tonne & n exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note: Moorum shall be brought from out side MD land royally if any shall be borne by the contractor. The rate includes for transportation of mooorum irrespective of the distance involved.

Supply and fixing cat eye white/yellow colour of ABS plastic metal with two No of required reflection including fixing with approved adhesive/fastener on road. (series OS-of size 100mmX 100mm X 20mm)complete all as specified and directed on road as in repairs including taking down of existing one.

Preparation of black bituminous road surfaces applying thermoplastic road making reflector special paint, minimum 2.5 mm thick , with machine application and heat mixer, with strring mechanism at temparature 160 degree C laid uniformly with width as directed paint conforming to BS 3262 Part I & II of 1989 etc and 20% glass beads (intermixed) complete as per manufactures instruction all as directed.

Demolition of concrete of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided and removing debris outside MD land complete all as sp[ecified and directed.
