M&L for Servicing of DG Sets of capacity 250 KVA (make Kirloskar/ Cummins/CG/Ashok Leyland) by the authorised Engineer of respective manufacturer to make the DG Set continous operational condition including the following checkings all as specified and directed. (i) Draining out the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump thoroughly and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 15W40 & coolant to top up .(Note :- New oil, coolant will be measured and paid separately) (iii) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors. (Distilled water measured and paid seperately) (iv) Checking and cleaning of fan motor hub (iii) Checking and cleaning of exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhaust pipe and checking of inlet manifold belt and cap screw (iv) Cleaning of radiator inside and out side thoroughly with solution (caustic soda) to the entire satisfaction of Eng-in-charge by removing and re-fixing in original position after cleaning.(v) Checking and adjusting injector and valves, tappet and replace the gasket including cost of gasket. (vi) Cleaning fuel inlet connections and screw, (vii) Checking of vibration damper and rectified. (viii) Servicing of turbocharger by checking, leakage tightening of mounting screws & nuts and replace oil. (ix) Checking water temperature safety control.(x) Servicing of governer and Changing of governor oil. (xi) Checking and adjusting all fan belt. (xii) Any other check as per manufacturer`s instructions.(xiii)Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge

Note:- (i) The work should be done through authorised service provider of OEM( GCL/EKL/KIRLOSKAR) and only genuine parts should be used as per OEM (ii) Repair and Transportation charge for carrying out repair & reinstall on same installation back shall be deemed to be included in this rates (iii) Necessary spare parts required if any will be measured and paid under relevant items, fixing charges of these spare parts shall be deemed to be included in the rate. (iv) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make reccomended by OEM will only be used for servicing of DG set

M&L for Rewinding of armature of alternators /dynamo 24 volts with `F' class copper wire to match existing gauge including dismantling of old coil, cleaning thoroughly and winding with super enameled copper wire of existing size and gauge, varnishing, drying etc and fixed with dynamo/ alternator properly tesing and commissioning of 10 to 50 KVA DG set all as specified all and directed.

All as per item No. 7 above but DG set of capacity 62.5 to 250 KVA

M&L for Rewinding of the armature of self starter with `F' class copper wire as per existing gauge dismantling the old coil cleaning throghly winding with coppper conductor of existing size and gauge , varnishing drying and fixing back with self starter properly tesing and commissioning 10 to 50 KVA DG set all as specified all and directed.

All as per item No. 9 above but DG set of capacity 62.5 to 250 KVA.

Supply only distilled water packed in sealed gallan of 5 Ltrs.

Supply and filling water coolant (diluted) in radiator including removal of old water/ coolant, all as directed. Make:- Valvoline or equivalent make as approved by GE.

Supply only Engine oil 15W40 Make:- Castrol/Kirloskar /HP or equivalent make as approved by GE.

Dismantiling and removing of water pump assesmbly complete from the engine repair/overhauling the same by replacing worn out components like bearing. Impeller, bushes, Oil seal, water seal, gasket etc, reassembling refixing and testing complete for the 10 to 50 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No. 14 above but for 62.5 to 250 KVA DG Set.

M & L for dismantling the self starter of 250 KVA DG sets and transporting to work shop for carrying out overhauling including replacement of worn out clutch assembly, bush, spring, plunger assembly, solenoid switch, carbon brushes, brush spring etc.as reassembling and refixing the same to DG sets including testing complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no. 16 above but for 82.5/75/ 160 KVA DG Set .

Servicing/ repairs of AMF panel complete including cleaning resetting/ adjustment of relays, calibration of time delay relays, checking and replcement of diods, if required, resistors contactor etc. complete for any make type and capacity of DG sets.

Disconnecting and dismantling the alternator unit of 250 KVA DG set capacity from the base plate of the DG set and transporting to workshop for repair, dismantling the unit, further separating the armature from the startor carefully, cutting and taking out the burnt windings of the alternator carefully, cleaning the slots and, duly applying the insulation and assembling the stampings inserting in position in the startor including applying slot insulation and rewinding of the alternator startor with super enameled copper conductor of same gauge and same number of turns as that of existing one including replacement of carbon brushes tapping the windings and bringing out the coil conections for production of 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply and preheating the windings and applying insulating varnish and drying the windings in oven and assembling the unit and transporting back to installation and fixing on base plate and coupling with the DG set and testing complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 28 above but 75/82.5/100/160 KVA capacity DG Set.

S&F in replacement of rectifiers/ SMPS units for alternators suitable for Gensets upto 62.5/ 100/ 160/ 250KVA capacity complete as specified and as directed.

S&F carbon brushes suitable for alternators upto 250 KVA gensets complete as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of RPM meter complete with cable and accessories at the last range 0 to 2500 complete as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the defective Fuel Injector Assembly of any capacity from the existing foundation and engine including taking down all electrical connections transporting to approved authorised workshop, after setting up opening the complete, connector plate, gasket & complete overhauling, re- assembling the Fuel Injector after transporting back to site re-installing carrying out alignment of complete DG set reconnecting up all electrical connections testing and commissioning of 250 KVA capacity DG Set complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive making good the distrubed surfaces . (b) The DG set shall be tested for the satisfaction of Engr -in -charge to achive designed parameters.

M&L servicing/ cleaning of MS diesel tank of DG set 250/160/100/82.5 KVA by draining out the diesel from tank, cleaning the tank with soap water/ suitable solution and painting the external surface with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour including repalcement of drain valve, outlet pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/ taking down complete radiator assembly from DG sets 75 KVA to 250 KVAKVA and transportation to market for repair by :- (i) Opening the radiator assembly with brazing/welding for repair/services (ii) Cleaning of all water tubes with diluted solution of HCL & cleaning with water pressure and removing the sludge and dust from inside the tank by flushing out (iii) Repairs of fins by soldering/brazing (iv) Repairs bottom brass water tank by soldering/brazing (v) Repairs radiator hose assembly (vi) Fixing complete radiator assembly to original position and testing complete .

All as per item No. 56 above but for 40 to 62.5 KVA DG Set.

S&F in replacement of 24 volts relay, taking down and reconnecting up all electrical connections testing and commissioning complete as directed.

S&F in replacement of 12 volts relay, taking down and reconnecting up all electrical connections testing and commissioning complete as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for pedestal including necessary formwork and fair finishing to exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates for foundation of poles / struts / stays etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified 410 SP-55 (9 mter long) including taking down old damaged pole of any type and size, including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats aluminium paint on surfaces, exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (Total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface, above PCC benching including with writing of pole No with letters/figures of size not exc 30 mm with black paint on a yellow circle of dia 75 mm after painting complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for prepration of old concrete surface of HT poles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old paint particles and apply two coats of cement base paint on the surface of pole and PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed. Note. (i) The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates includes the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.

Trimming of tree branches from LT overhead line to branch 2 mtr up to both side & re-stretching of ACSR conductor and earth wire of any size and type on LT poles including disconnecting and rebinding with insulators with suitable size of binding wire after restretching, connecting jumpers, adjusting line deviders and disposal tree branches as per direction by Engr-in-Charge complete including removing and refixing of UG cable /service wires to the ACSR conductor complete. (Note- Pole to pole length shall be measured and paid as one run)

Cutting and removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants / bushes etc clamping up towards the poles and stays etc including cleaning bottom surface area of pole & stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth outside and inside sub stations, perimeter fencing around pump house area, and in drains surrounding area from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm size around two pole/ four pole structure in 15 cm thickness after cleaning area by removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants/bushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting, taking down and stacking the unserviceable /broken earth wire /strip of any size from the roof or from wall and removing the same from the site complete all as directed.

S&F air termination vertical type, single pointed made with 12mm dia 300mm long aluminium rod including necessary fixing arrangements with aluminium bolts, nuts, lead wasters etc. complete and incl provisin of GI tubing light grade 40mm dia, 300mm long embedded in PCC block (size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm) one end and other end fitted with air termination rod all as specified and directed.

S&F horizontal/down conductors aluminium strip of size 25mm x 3.15mm and including epoxy insulator bus bar type 40mm thick at an interval of 60cm apart for lightening protection on roof and for down conductors, including all fixing arrangement sand aluminiun nut, bolt & washers complete all as per IS-2309-1989 and testing all as specified. Note:- Aluminium strip shall be jointed with rivets minimum 4 Nos.

Test point terminal block madeout and gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw for fixing the same on wall as as directed at site.

S&F galvanised from strip of size 32mmx 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as directed..

S&F in replacement of (Old GI pole) of 5 Mtr high hot dip galvanized octagonal poles with 130mm bottom dia and 70mm top dia made up to 3 mm thick HT sheet base plate of size 200x200x12mm thick its also includes 04 Nos of M20x600mm logn ‘J’ type EN 8 grade foundation bolts along with templates and 100 mtr long hot dip galvanized double arm standard bracket made out of 40mm GI pipe light grade suitable to mount on pole having thick stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Bajaj/Havells/Philips or equivalent make as approved by GE. Note:- Foundation for pole of PCC size 50x50x85 CM above ground level including plaster of surface will also include in quoted rate.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as directed.

Note:-(i) The concrete pit shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m GI for protection of earth strip. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
