TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY

Topographical survey of project area / site levelling area as per tender drawing for site levelling works, showing all permanent features/objects, carrying the Bench Mark (up to 5 Kms.) from existing plant area / nearest available source and establishing at suitable locations and detail survey by taking spot levels on an average at 25 m intervals, constructing bench marks, preparation of survey maps indicating grid lines, contour lines at 0.5 m intervals and furnishing soft/digital copy in AutoCAD and pdf format of various drawings as per specifications. Note: Topographical survey shall be completed prior to start of excavation/ filling/ site levelling work.

SITE LEVELLING WORKS

Earthwork in excavation in All Kinds of Soil, deposited ash, deposited coal etc. within site levelling boundary for site levelling work and disposal of excavated Soil, ash, coal etc in area within or outside the site leveling boundary as identified by the Owner, including clearing of excavation areas as per technical specification for 'Site Clearance', full compensation for excavation/cutting in soil, ash, coal etc. trimming bottom and slopes of excavation, loading, transportation and unloading of materials to disposal site, including the cost of lead upto 5 kms. and all lifts in respect of excavation, disposal, transportation and placement of disposal materials within/outside the site levelling boundary, dressing to the required slopes/ shapes, levels and profiles, bailing out rain/surface/sub-soil water (dewatering including pumps) from the excavation and disposal sites, excavation below subsoil water level, removal of slush as per requirements, providing all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safeguards and incidentals as per specifications, drawings and directions of the Engineer. Note: The payments for such works shall be based on volume in cutting only.

Earthwork in excavation in Ordinary Rock within site levelling boundary for site levelling work and disposal of excavated rock in area within or outside the site leveling boundary as identified by the owner, including clearing of excavation areas as per technical specification for 'Site Clearance', full compensation for excavation/cutting in rock, trimming bottom and slopes of excavation, loading, transportation and unloading of materials to disposal site, including the cost of lead upto 5 kms. and all lifts in respect of excavation, disposal, transportation and placement of disposal materials within/outside the site levelling boundary, dressing to the required slopes/ shapes, levels and profiles, bailing out rain/surface/sub-soil water (dewatering including pumps) from the excavation and disposal sites, excavation below subsoil water level, removal of slush as per requirements, providing all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safeguards and incidentals as per specifications, drawings and directions of the Engineer. Notes: a) Measurement and payment for such works shall be based on volume of rock in excavation /cutting only. b) In ordinary rock blasting operations shall not be generally adopted. However, the contractor may resort to blasting with the permission of the Engineer but nothing extra shall be paid for such blasting operations.
