Note: The caning of chairs shall be carried only after finishing with painting / polishing all as required as site.
Polishing to wooden chair with french polish of approved grade and brand after cleaning, dusting and scratching the entire wooden suface with sand emery paper of required grade, filling putty to the bore holes, making the surface smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship all as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as specified. The polishing shall be carried out after making the article intact by tightening all parts by placing wooden brackets at each corners and carrying out antitermite and antibug treatment.

Chair Verandah, FD-19M, 256, 359, 259, FD/MAP-II/06 Spot Gas welding to broken parts using stiffners of appropriate size of required length to broken parts / joints of chairs.
Removing the existing torn out / unserviceable plastic cane from chair verancah and recanning the chair fully both seat and back with new plastic cane of Virgin quality white, half round of size 4.0mm wide and 0.6mm thick complete all as shown on drawing and as specified. Note: The caning of chair shall pnly be carriedout after painting the chair.
S & F Best quality hard PVC new shoes/ bushes to legs of chairs including removing the unserviceable shoes / bushes complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing the existing userviceable / broken PVC seat and back from the chair and supply and fixing new PVC seat and back 4mm thick to the chair verandah MAP after providing flat iron of 25mm x 4mm support at centre of seat only by proper welding for support of PVC seat. The Model of PVC sheet shall be got approved from GE before procurement. The PVC sheet shall be fixed only after painting of the chair. Make of PVC Sheet : AMCO / COMFO / HARMONY
Painting frame of the Chair verandah with two coats of Milk white colour synthetic enamel paint of approved quality after preparation of steel surface by sanding with sand emery paper and dusting the surface with clean cloth. The chair frame shall be made smooth by applying metal putty where required.

REPAIRS TO CHAIR TUBULAR STEEL WITH ARMS FD-75(M): Scratching the entire frame of chair and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of olive green shade after preparation of surface by removing old paint with sand emery paper complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and Fix 2 Nos Mild Steel flat of size 25mm x 4mm welded to beneath in between the width of the chair for support of seat complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing unserviceable seat frame of chair tubular steel with arms and supply and fix new seat frame made of 1st Class teak wood, duly polished in natural shade, duly plastic canned in Godrej pattern with 1st quality Virgin plastic cane not less than 2.0mm to 2.5mm width and 0.4 mm thick and borders with 4mm wide and 0.6 mm thick plastic cane and fixed with screws 4 Nos and nut bolts and washers of length 60- 65mm length to chair frame complete all as per drawing and as specified.

Removing broken hand rest and providing new hand rest made of well seasoned 1st class Hard wood (TEAK WOOD) arm rest, black polished and fixed to the chair tubular with arms with screws of suitable size to the chair frame all as shown on drawing and as directed.

CHAIR STEEL WITH PLY TOP, TP Removing the old broken /userviceable seat from the chair steel with Ply top (TP) by unscrewing and supply and fixing new seat of same size and specification.The seat shall be made of plywood duly hot compressed and glueed into desired shape and size with thickness not less than 12mm. The seat shall be polished with two coats of french polish of approved brand and make over a coat of primer complete all as specified and shown on drawing. Note: The Seat shall be fixed only after painting the chair frame.
Scratching the entire frame of chair and applying one coat of synthetic enamel black paint after preparation of surfaces. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge NOTES: All Items of work shall be carried out as under: (a) Removal of existing unserviceable parts carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles. Supply and fixing of new parts including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging glueing, providing hinges, placing every part intact as required with standard work manship and as shown on drawings and as specified. (b) All furniture items finished with painting / polishing only after making the entire item in tact by tightening the joints. (c) Work shall be executed in side BS yard and at various sites as per requirement. (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before painting / polishing the wooden furniture. The quoted rates for all items shall be deemed to be included for all the above provisions and conditions.
