This is RDSO restricted item and Railway reserves the right to procure entire or bulk of the tendered quantity from RDSO approved sources only.The status of the firm shall be reckoned as on the date of tender opening and not thereafter. But in case of downgrading / removal / suspension / banning etc. after opening of the tender, such changes will be taken into account while deciding tenders.Any firm quoting on behalf of any approved source must upload valid tender specific authorization from them, failing which their offer will be summarily rejected without any back reference.

Manufacturers or their authorized Distributor/ Dealer/Agent with Tenders specific authorization can only quote. OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / dealers to quote on their behalf provided the manufacturer takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation and the inspection of product against Railways order is carried out at the manufacturers premises. The offer without Tender Specific Authorisation Letter will be summarily rejected if tenderer is not manufacturer/OEM

The weighbridge supplier shall be required to necessarily possess all requisite clearances and approvals from the Metrological department, Government of India for the model of the In-motion weighing instruments being offered to the Indian Railways.

Manufacturers shall be required to obtain a certificate of their EIMWB software regarding compliance of ISO 27001 from STQC directorate, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, which should be fully compatible to this specification for record and quality assurance purpose. Every time a version change is necessitated, the same should be deployed only after obtaining the certificate mentioned above. Firm to upload the valid STQC certificate of their offered software.

EMD Clause : Tenderers are required to deposit Earnest Money equivalent to the amount mentioned in the tender document. There shall be no exemption from submission of Earnest Money for any tender or by any tenderer except as per Para 3.3 of Instructions to Tenderers for Electronic Tenders (Version: NFR-Jan 2025). All vendors, exempted from submitting EMD, irrespective of the type of tender, i.e, Single, Limited or Open, shall be required to sign a Bid Securing Declaration as per proforma available on bidders interface for payment of EMD on IREPSportal. Offers of tenderers, who do not submit Earnest Money and are also not exempted formsubmission of Earnest Money shall be summarily rejected.
