REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF SECURITY WALLS, STEEL GATES, WICKET GATES, FENCING, CONCERTINA COILS, GATE PILLARS, BRICK WORK AND PRE MONSOON REPAIR WORKS IN RESIDENTIAL AND TECHNICAL AREA AT NPOL KOCHI

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

S & F rolled sections as in main and cross beams, coloumns, angles, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters of angle, pipe sections etc., complete all as specified and directed.

S & F framed work such as grills gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged into apikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed baluster; walk ways; railings; framed work or water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290 grade E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L painting to new steel and iron surface exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over 1 coat of primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (20 mm gd aggregate) as in filling of post holes, bed block Ditto, in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs , water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on gates, fencing post etc., complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line wire to be measured.

S & F Razor edge concertina coil, 610mm dia, consisting of spirals with sharp edged tape of 0.5mm thick, crimped to 2.6mm dia high tensile steel wire duly galvanised as per IS 4454 with scrapper barb having 51 spirals with 125 clips (when stretched to a length of 6metre, weight of each coil shall be 8 to 9 kg, approximately) and fixed to MS frame work 'Y' shaped and tied with GI staples/clips to retain horizontal including provision of necessary bolts, nuts etc., over at any height complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L pre cast concrete solid block masonry 1:3:6 type C1 (20mm graded aggregate) with solid block exceeding 10 cm in width and setting CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting out bricks, forming toothing for and bonding new in to old work including material entering old walls and jointing and pointing in CM 1:4 ( Measured on vertical surface in contact with old wall) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on surfaces other than fair face of brickwork or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing the new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over primer on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment from walls and applying one coat of weather proof exterior emulsion paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) as in floors and pavings of 100mm thick all as specified and as directed

M & L for Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20mm thick for laying floor finishes in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm thick set joined and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with white cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in foot path, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hopping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Mild steel bars TMT 5 to 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia as in stirrups complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for RCC M-25 Design Mix Concrete (using 20mm graded aggregate) as in footing, foundation, beam, plinth beam, bases for columns etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for RCC M-25 Design Mix Concrete (using 20mm graded aggregate) as in columns, pillars, piers, post and struts complete all as specified and directed.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns raft and raft beams sides and soffits of foundation and plinth beam and similar work vertical or to batter complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PVC (SWR) 75 mm bore pipes for weep holes of boundary wall complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required including PCC complete all as specified and directed.

M & L concrete bed to 450mm bore drain pipe in cement pipes in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 including packing and hunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Reinforced concrete 450 mm bore pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M & L concrete bed to 300mm bore drain pipe in cement pipes in cement concret 1:3:6 type C2 including packing and hunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Reinforced concrete 300 mm bore pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 to 20 mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite including rounding to edges of stone slabs one edges, such as in steps, platform, and other similar situations complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings in complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for cleaning and complete removal of vegetation, dry leaves, waste materials from top of roof, chajjas, portico, walls of the bldg including removal of trees, branches spread over the building roof, remove from the site of buildings above FOUR storeys complete all as specified and directed. Note: This rate is included for necessary scaffolding arrangement, other tools & equipments required for safty measurement and good workmanship for building above 4th storey.

Labour only for cleaning and complete removal of roots and vegetation all around the plinth protection and around the bldg and cut down shrub under growth, remove from the site of bldgs upto FOUR storeys complete all as specified and directed. M & L for applying chemical over removal places of deeply grown vegetation areas, cover slab, walls and chajjas and making good the area in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed. M & L for applying Shaliurethane BTD chemical over top of roof, chajjas, portico, walls of the bldg and all around the and making good the area complete all as specified and directed.
