SPL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT CERTAIN UNIT AT ARMY AREA BANAR UNDER GE BANAR

M&L for preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cakedmud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust/dirt complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for repair to pot holes, any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of black top, cutting around edges at least 25mm in depth & making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply or road metal) and inspected/approved before laying the premix carpet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm & exc 50mm deep but n.exc 150mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Laying and compacting 100 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm & n exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70-1kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam with 4% binder content using paving bitumen (VG-40 Gde) by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 Tonne (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi- dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen VG-40 grade by weight of total mix rolled and compacted with vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat of catonic bitumen emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc, and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
