SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

Chair Dining Offrs (FD/MAP-II/04) Overall size shall be 950mm high,450mm wide and 450mm deep.The size of the legs shall be 40x50mm .Front and side rails shall be of size 25x65mm.Stiifeners of size 20mmx25mm three in nos shall be fixed as specified in drg..75x75x25 teak wood stopper shall be fixed with main frame and legs four nos each in every corner for the support of the cushion and seat ply.75mm thick 40 density cushion of approved foam(Kurlon/sleepwell) covered with approved tapestry cloth shall be fixed over 12mm thick ply as specified in drg.Side frame of back of the chair shall be of section 40x50mm..Four teak wood vertical stiffeners of section 20x30mm shall be fixed in back of chair. 25mm dia and 25mm high nylon buffers shall be provided to bottom of all legs.The curved teak wood back shall be of section 30x45mm.All sizes shall be taken as stated in specification, irrespective of what is shown on drg. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces

Side Board (FD-1112) Overall size shall be 1025mm long, 450mm wide and 750mm high. Back shall be 1025mm long and 750mm high pre-laminated MDF bd 19mm thick/18mm MDF, Sides shall be 450mm wide and 675mm high pre-laminated MDF bd 19mm thick/18mm thick MDF. Base shall be of 75mm high 19mm thick pre-laminated MDF bd /18mm thick MDF fixed at 25mm from front and sides. Top and bottom shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated MDF bd/18mm thick MDF. A veticle partition of 19mm thick pre-laminated MDF bd /18mm thick MDF shall be provided at 358mm from inside of right hand side pre-laminated MDF board/18mm thick MDF. Four drawers shall be provided equally in this space. Three pieces of MDF board 40mmx19mm and 358mm long shall be provided over the lower three drawers. Bottom, sides back of drawers shall be of 19mm thick MDF bd. The front of drawers shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated MDF bd/18mm thick MDF 20mm x20mm teak wood bearers fixed exactly in centre of both sides of the drawers shall be provided to each drawer. Another 20mm x20mm teak wood bearer shall be fixed to the vertical of the side bd in such a way the the bearers fixed with the sides of the drawer shall slide over smoothly. On left side compartment two horizontal shelves, equally spaced shall provided as shown on drawing. The size of shelves shall be 610mm long, and 387 mm wide. Two side hung shutters shall be provided to left hand side of side board. the shutters shall be side hung with 20mm size piano type hinges. The shutters shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated MDF board/18mm thick MDF. 4mm thick teak wood edging shall be provided alround the front shutters and front of shelves. Shelvesh shall be fixed over the standard aluminium shelf support. ON all visible front edges of pre-laminated MDF bd/MDF bd shall be provided with 4mm thick teak wood edging. All drawers and shutters shall be provided with one handle each of powder coated mild steel and 100mm long. Two catch spring shall be provided to shutters as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given high gloss French polish with lacquer fininsh.

Stool Dressing Cushioned (FD/MAP-II/07) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 450 mm long,300mm wide and 380mm high. DESCRIPTION:All wood shall be Ist class teak wood.The size of the legs shall be of size 50mmx30mm .The size of the three bottom stiffener shall be of size 19mmx25mm.The size of the top rails shall be of size 25mmx65mm.12mm thick commercial plywood shall be fixed over the top rails for seat .The seat of the stool shall be made of 75mm thick foam cushion of 32 density duly covered with best quality tapestry cloth.Rest all as per drg. FINISH:All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces

Table writing (FD-275) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 1145mm long, 600mm wide and 760mm high. DESCRIPTION:All wood shall be of first class hard teak wood except top and right hand side drawer cabinet. Legs shall be of 35mmx55mm in section and 717mm high having 5mmx5mm in section groove at the top of legs at the portion when placed in position. The top shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Two short stiffeners of teak wood of size 50mmx40mm in section irrespective of what is shown on drg shall be provided between legs at 100mm from bottom of legs. Sides of the box which house the drawer and cabinet shall be 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board exterior grade. Sides and back of drawers shall be of 12mm thick teak wood planks. Bottom of drawers shall be of 6 mm thick plywood commercial.6mm thick plywood commercial 75mm high partition shall be provided in the drawer. Shutter for cabinet shall be fixed with piano type continuous hinges. Lock shall be provided to drawer and shutters. Recessed handle shall be provided to drawer and shutter.25mm dia and 25mm high rubber shoes shall be fixed to bottom of legs. FINISH: All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces

Teapoy (FD-382) DIMENSION: The overall size shall be 600mm long, 450mm wide and 540mm high. DESCRIPTION:The legs shall be 60mmx30mm in section and 497 mm high and shall be of teak wood.5mmx5mm in section groove shall be provided at the visible portion of top of legs. Top rails of teak wood of 20mmx50mm in section and 510mm long shall be provided between the legs. Bottom rail of teak wood of 20mmx50mm in section and 420mm long shall be provided between legs, widthwise at 100mm above the bottom of legs. A centre rail of size 20mmx50mm shall also be provided lengthwise at centre in between the side bottom rails irrespective of what is shown on drg.25mm thick and 25mm dia hard rubber /PVC rings shall be fixed to the bottom of all legs fixed with 30mm long screws. Top of the table shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board exterior grade of approved shade with 4mm thick teak wood beading all-round the edges of top. FINISH: All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces Rest all as per drg

Almirah Mess Utensils FD-93(M) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1065mm long, 455mm wide and 1670mm high. All wood shall be of first class hard wood teak (MP). Legs shall be 50mm square at top and 40mm square at bottom and shall 1 be 100mm high. 19mmx40mm teak wood stiffeners shall be provided between legs joining legs in short span and long span. Bottom half shall have cupboard covered with 19mm thick pre-laminated particleboard teak veneer on one side. and having two shutters hinged with sides with 50mm long butt hinges. Top of cup- board shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particleboard teak veneer on one side and other side plain. Cupboard shall have two 19mm thick teak wood shelves resting on 19mmx 12mm teak wood bearers fixed on sides equally spaced to make into three compartments. Bottom of cupboard shall have 19mm thick wooden plank. Sides of cupboard shall be made of 19mm thick teak wood planks. Back of Almirah shall be provided with 10mm thick plywood commercial. Top of Almirah Mess Utensils shall be of 19mm thick leak wood plank 200mm wide and 1065mm long. Top shelf shall have teak wood plank with plastic laminated sheet 1.5mm thick. A partition plank of 19mm thick teak wood shall be provided in vertical position405mm from left between bottom of top shelf and top of cupboard. A small shelf of 405mm shall be provided on the left side dividing the portion into equal half and shall have 12mm thick teak wood plank covered with 1.5mm thick plastic laminated sheet. Front of shelves and front of top of almirah shall be covered with 12mmx40mm teak wood facia upto entire length of shelf and top of almirah. Bottom cupboard shutters shall be provided with two numbers aluminium handles of 100mm long and two ball spring catches as shown on drawing. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. Inside cupboard shall be given two coats of white enamel paint over a coat of primer as directed by GE.

SCH 'A' PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE)

Almirah Large Steel (FD/E6/MAP/18) Overall size of almirah large steel is 1900mm high, 910mm wide and 490mm deep. The MS sheet used for making sides, front, drawers, partitions, base and shelves of the almirah shall be of 20 gauge except the back which shall be of 22 gauge. Almirah large steel shall be manufactured out of plain black MS sheet of thickness as shown on drawing. Handle shall be of concelaed including lock in Godrej. Make: Godrej/Harrison/Link as approved by GE.Three shelves shall be fixed at an equidistant positions as shown in drg.The locker of the almirah shall be provided with safety handle and lock. The front two doors of the almirah shall be fixed with 75mm long hinges three on each side with proper rivet and welding. The shelves shall be welded to sides and back of almirah internally as shown on drg.One chromium plated rod of 20mm dia shall be fixed at 75mm below the top for hanging purpose.Rest all as per drg. Finishes: -Pretreated with epoxy powder coatred oven baked with dual shade color as directed by Engr-in-Charge/GE.

Almirah Med Steel with Shelves (FD-1032) (a) Almirah Med steel shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Almirah Med steel shall be manufactured out of plain black MS sheet of thickness as shown on drawing. Handle shall be of concelaed including lock in Godrej. Make: Godrej/Harrison/Link as approved by GE. (c) Bending, welding, riveting, bolting, lapping, turning and other items/ fitting shall be done/provided as specified in relevant IS and as per trade engineering norms and pattern. (d) Finishes: - Pretreated with epoxy powder coatred oven baked with dual shade color as directed by Engr-in-Charge/GE (e) All other items / fittings shall be as shown on drawing and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms / pattern.

Bath Mat PVC (FD/E6/MAP/07) The Bath Mat PVC shall be made up of 5mm thick PPCP material .The size of the bath mat shall be 400mm Lx300mm Wx250mmH.The bath mat shall have centre leg of dia 25mm.The four legs shall be in arc shape and of size 10mmx100mm.The top of the bath mat shall have 3mmx10mm thick stiffener moulded along with the seat in single piece underneath. The weight of the bath mat shall not be less than 1.3 kgs. Make-AMKO or Cello.

Book Case (FD-1028) DIMENSION:Over all size shall be of 840 mm long, 310 mm wide and 1675 mm high . DESCRIPTION:All sheet shall be mild steel sheet 1 mm thick, back, sides, bottom, top and shelves.The book case shall be provided with four compartments of equal size. The shutters of each compartment shall open towards top and slide into the depth of the book case.Transparent glass 4mm thick shall be provided to front shutters. Two steel handles of 100 mm long shall be provided to each shutter of the compartment. The locking device shall be provided to each compartment with duplicate key and each shutter shall be provided with decorative key plate .Make of lock godrej/harrison/link FINISH:Finishes: - Pretreated with epoxy powder coatred oven baked with dual shade color as directed by Engr-in-Charge/GE

Teapoy Varanda (FD/E6/MAP/17) Overall size shall be 700mm long 400mm wide and 540mm high. The legs, top centre stiffener, top rails and bottom rails shall be of 18mm square MS pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm.Base tray made of 5mm dia MS bar 12x10 nos at equidistant shall be made and fixed as shown on drg.The top shall be of 18mm thick pre laminated MDFof approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Hard rubber shoe shall also be fixed to the bottom of each leg.The steel frame shall be painted with synthetic enamel black colour.Rest all as per drg. Note: Complete H Shaped stiffner & 02 Nos of Side Rails shall be provided in addition to drg.

(b) Locker shall be manufactured out of plain black MS sheet of thickness as shown on drawing. Handle shall be of concelaed including lock in Godrej. Make: Godrej/Harrison/Link as approved by GE (c) Bending, welding, rivetting, bolting, lapping, turning and other items/ fitting shall be done/provided as specified in relevant IS and as per trade engineering norms and pattern.
