(iii) Factory inspection and testing of the transformer shall be carried out in the presence of the representative of the

| 2 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of OEM manufactured, CPCB IV+ compliant, silent type Diesel Generator Set of capacity 82.5 kVA, rated 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz, 0.8 power factor, running at 1500 RPM, complete with acoustic enclosure, mounted on common MS base frame with AVM pads and inbuilt fuel tank, suitable for continuous operation under ambient conditions from –10°C to +40°C, complete all as specified and directed. The DG set shall conform to the latest editions of CPCB IV+ emission and noise norms, IS 8183/ BS 5514,ISO 3046,IS 10002,IS 13364 (Part 2):2003,IS 2147.
Notes:- (i) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and laying of cables and terminations from the generator to the AMF panel, including making necessary openings in walls and making good all disturbed surfaces to match the existing f finishes, complete all as specified and directed.
(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the first fill of lubricating oil and carrying out the final successful acceptance test.
(iii) The quoted rate shall include excavation, removal of soft/hard soil, PCC, construction of cement concrete foundation, backfilling and mass concrete of Type B2 (1:2:4) using 40 mm graded aggregate, as per OEM drawings, for placement of the DG set, complete all as specified and directed.
(iv) Factory inspection and testing of the DG set shall be carried out in the presence of the representative of the Accepting Officer, and all associated charges shall be borne by the contractor.
(v) The contractor shall submit detailed technical specifications, approved model, make, drawings and OEM literature to the Accepting Officer for approval prior to placement of the order. | 2 | Each | - | - |
| 2.01 | (vi) The make of the DG set, switchgear, accessories and all items to be incorporated in the panel board shall be as specified in Schedule ‘A’ (List of Makes) or shall be got approved from the Accepting Officer on the drawings before placement of the order.
The DG set shall comprise: (A) Diesel Engine 4-stroke, turbocharged, water-cooled diesel engine conforming to CPCB IV + emission and noise norms. The engine shall be of adequate BHP to deliver the rated 82.5 kVA output continuously, with 10% overload for one hour, as per ISO 3046 and installation, testing and commissioning of the DG set shall be carried out in accordance with IS 8183 and OEM recommendations complete with:
i. Electric self-starting system with maintenance-free battery and charging alternator ii. Dry type air filter, fuel filters, lubricating oil filter and lubrication system. iii. Mechanical / electronic governor with frequency regulation within ±1% iv. Cooling system with radiator, fan, belts and water pump v. Exhaust manifold with residential type silencer and flexible bellows. vi. Safety protections for low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over-speed vii. Cold starting kit
(B) Alternator Brushless, self-excited, self-regulated, copper-wound alternator, salient pole type, rated 82.5 kVA, 415 V ±1%, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz, star connected, insulation class ‘H’, temperature rise class ‘H’, drip-proof enclosure, conforming to IS/BS 5000 / BS 2613, complete with AVR and accessories.
(C) Control Panel / Fully automatic AMF Panel(AMFi) Factory-built Fully automatic AMFi Panel that detects main failure, starts DG set, transfer load, restore supply automatically made of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, dust and vermin proof, powder coated, suitable for 415 V, 3 Phase supply, complete with:
i. Copper bus bars rated at 1.5 times rated current

ii. Noise level not exceeding 75 dBA at 1 metre under free-field conditions as per IS 13364 (Part 2):2003
iii. Internal LED lighting and external emergency stop push button.
iv. Batteries and control panel housed within enclosure on insulated platform
(E) Exhaust, Foundation and Mounting
Exhaust and fuel systems complete with all accessories as per OEM design and CPCB IV+ requirements, including exhaust silencer, flexible connections, insulation, fuel injection system, filters and hoses, suitable for safe, vibration-free operation of the DG set . RCC / PCC foundation of 1:2:4, Type B2 with (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as per OEM drawing, including excavation, PCC, mass concrete, backfilling and finishing complete. | - | - | - | - |
