Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 'Silent' type Diesel Generating Set as per CPCB-II norms alongwith having Prime Power Rating of 125 kVA, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor at 415 Volt suitable for 50Hz, 3 Phase System and consisting of the following and as per specifications and conditions:

Diesel Engine:

Diesel Engine, 6 Cylinders, 4 Stroke cycle, Water Cooled , turbocharged charge air-cooled developing 159 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514. 30.35 litre/hour fuel consumption @100% load with radiator and fan, 12V DC Electrical starting system, 21.4 litre total lubrication system capacity, 26 litre total coolant capacity, exhaust pipe 4" and exhaust temperature 553°C . The engine will be fitted completed with all the required accessories.

Alternator:

Sychronous alternator rated at 125 kVA, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 3 Phase 50 Hz, AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40oC, 50% RH at 1000 Meters MSL. The alternator shall be having IP23 enclosure, brushless type, continuos duty, self excited conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, 3 phase reconnectable winding with 12 terminals brought out for connection, better motor starting capability, dynamically balanced rotor, compact design with sealed bearings for longer life and lesser maintenance and impregnation on all wound components for better mechanical strength.

Base Frame & Foundation:

Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangemnt as per recommendations of the manufacturer. The foundation shall be 400mm below the ground level and 150mm above the ground level.

Fuel Tank:

Daily service fuel tank of standard 290 litres capacity fabricated out of MS sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class 'C' pipes of suitable dia. complete with valves, level indications and accessories as required as per specifications.

Exhaust System:

Dry exhaust mainfold with Residential Silencer as per manufacturer specification.

Starting System:

12 volt DC starting system compring of starter motors: voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with 1 No. 12 volts battery of 90 Amp. hours capacity lead acid type sealed maintenance free as required as per specifcations.

Accoustic and weather proof enclosure with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of the engine and alternator, extraction, discharging hot air into the atmosphere as per specifications and CPCB-II norms.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of automatic mains failure panel, fabricated with 2mm thick CRCA sheet duly supported with MS channels suitable for 125 KVA DG Set complete with relays, timers, set of CTs for metering and protection to indicate line currents, phase and line voltages, frequency, power factor, KWH to provide overload, short circuit, restricted earth fault, under frequency, over frequency protection, contactors and other instruments including KWH meter. power factor meter, frequency meter , control cabling from AMF Panel to diesel engine and also to MCCB on LT distribution panel and inter locking as required including following:

Current transformer 15 VA Class-I accuracy.

Digital type power factor meter.

Indicating lamps for load on mains and load on set.

Fuses for instruments.

Control unit with three impulse automatic engine start/stop and failure to start lockout.

On/Off Control Circuit Switch.

Providing/filling Diesel in the existing Diesel Set of Generator as required complete in all respect.

Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. in earth work, lift upto 1.50 meters stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required into plinths sides of foundations etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in a lead of 20 meters complete in pick and jumper work.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 Sand: 8 graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and cutting complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm (Three decimal one five millimeters) thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centering, shuttering, structting and propping etc. with wodden battens and ballies, height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 mtrs. and removal of the same for institu-reinforced concrete & plain contcrete work in. foundation, footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth etc.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering ramming consolidating and dressing complete.

SUB-HEAD-II :- EARTHING & LOOP EARTHING

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mmx600 mmx 3 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. ( but without charcoal or coke and salt ) complete as required.

Extra for using salt and charcoal for G.I. or copper plate earth electrode complete as required.

Providing and fixing 25mm x 5mm copper strip on surface or in recess for earth connections etc. as required.
