Earthwork excavation for foundations and depositing on bank for all lifts and with an initial lead of 10m including all Operational, incidengal, labour charges such as shoring, sheeting, planking, strutting etc., complete for finished item of work including Ordinary soil-Manual means upto 3m depth. Note: Cost of dewatering up to 5% of (a+b) may be added, where required, up to 10% of labour cost. Assessment for dewatering shall be made as per site conditions
Earthwork excavation in Hard rock (blasting prohibited)or structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material as per Technical Specification 305 MORD / 304 MORTH NOTE: 1. The quality, quantity and availability of rock shall be checked before affording credit. 2. In case some rock is issued to the contractor, rate as arrived per cum to that issued extent shall be deducted. 3. In case some rock is issued to the contractor at site , the item carriage shall be restricted / reduced to that extent. 4.Being small quantity, manual loading will be economical in this case and has been provided accordingly.
Filling of foundations and basement with best river sand in layers of not more than 15 cms. thick each well watered to saturation and consolidated including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete.
Conveyance of excavated surplus earth/debris to a distance 2 kms from the site of work at the place specified by the Engineer-in-Charge including loading and unloading etc., complete as directed during execution.
Filling with useful available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, sides of foundations and basement with initial lead in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, consolidating each deposited layer by watering and ramming including cost and conveyance of water to work site and all operational, incidental, labour charges, hire charges of T&P etc., complete for finished item of work. Note: Cost of transportation of good quality earth has not been included. Only labour for carrying carted earth with a lead of 50m to the foundation pits has been taken in the rate. The cost of carted earth / sand may be worked out separately if the same is not available from adjoining area.

Supply and placing of M 25 Design Mix Concrete corresponding to IS 456 using concrete mixer using of 20 mm HBG crushed metal 0.530 cum (707 kgs),. 10 mm HBG crushed metal, 0.362 cum (471 kgs) , sand 0.407 cum (616 kgs.) and cement 380 kgs with water cement ratio of 0.48 ( 182.40 ltrs/ cum of CC)etc., to site and including sales & other taxes on all materials including all operational, incidental and labour charges such as machine mixing, vibrating, laying concrete, curing etc., complete with cement from standard suppliers approved by the department but including cost of centering, shuttering charges and excluding cost of steel and its fabrication charges for finished item of work (APSS No. 402).
Note : The design mix shall be got designed by furnishing the information required as per clause 19.1.1 &19.1.2 of IS 456-2000 by the contractor at his own cost and get approved from the competent authority before execution. The cement considered for above M25 grade concrete is 380 kgs/Cum and the rate is arrived accordingly in the estimate. After the mix is designed and approved, if there is any variation in the quantity of cement, over the cement content adopted in the estimate, the same will be considered and paid/recovered at estimate rate + T.P ( Either increae or decrease in quantity adopted in the estimate). Payment will not be made for variation in the quantity of other materials such as coarse & Fine aggregates.

Providing High Yield Strength deformed bars below 36mm (HYSD)/ Thermo mechanically treated (TMT) steel bars of Fe 500 grade (as per IS 1786 - 1979) for RCC works, including labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending to required sizes and shapes, placing in position with cover blocks of approved materials and size and tying and lap splicing with binding wire of 18 SWG, forming grills for reinforcement work as per approved designs and drawings, including cost and conveyance of steel bars including all wastages such as over laps, couplings, chairs, spacer bars including cost and conveyance of binding wire, cover blocks and all incidental, operational, labour charges such as cutting, bending, placing in position, tying including sales and other taxes on all materials etc., complete for finished item of work in all floors. (APSS NO.126) (In the absence of 18G binding wire,2 nos of 20G binding wire in tandem are to be strictly adhered). Note: Unless otherwise fabrication and placement of steel, no pre-pament shall be made against the supply of steel reinforcement
Construction of Brick Masonry CM(1:6) using well burnt Bricks 2nd class or ground moulded ( Non- modular or traditional size) ( 230 x 110 x 70mm) including curing, cost and conveyance of all materials as directed during execution and complying with standard specifications etc., complete.

Supply and fixing of Mild steel, structure Steel. i.e., Angles, Channels & I-Sections etc., of different sizes including labour charges for fabricating all heavy steel works like Trusses, Stanchions, Heavy Beams and Girders including cost of welding rods, power charges, etc including cost of fixing in position including painting the grills with Two coats with Synthetic enamel paint over a Primary coat (Red oxide metal primer) (total three coats) of TATA, JINDAL, SAIL, VIZAG ETC., approved make including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete as directed during execution. (NOTE: Painting three coats has to be carriedout for the inner portion before fixing of frame work)

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length (total length 90m) having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3m height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with reinforced barbed tape (R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478gm/metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately).
Painting with Acrylic Emulsion paint exterior grade with silicon additives having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/liter of approved brand over a primary coat with ready mixed Cement primer (water thinnable) (Total three coats ) and shade after thoroughly brushing the surface to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials, including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site and all operational, incidental, labour charges etc., complete for finished item of work as per SS 911 for external new walls.
Supplying and fixing in position M.S Ornamental grills for windows and ventilators or for veranda openings using M.S. Flats, square rods, angles sheets etc., of approved design including necessary cuttings, bending fabrication, welding, grinding and finishing smooth including painting the grills with Two coats with Synthetic enamel paint Gr-I over a Primary coat (Red oxide metal primer) (total three coats) of approved make and colour including cost of making the holes into RCC or masonry works and making good the same wherever necessary, including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete.
