Replacement of old 225 KVA DG Set with new 500 KVA DG Set at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur

Providing, Installation, Testing & commoissioning of CPCB IV+, Silent Type Diesel Generating set 500 KVA, 415 volts complete with electrical panel comprising of minimum rated BHP (as per manufacturer standard) at 1500 RPM rated, Liquid Cooled Electronic Diesel Engine, continuous duty coupled to single bearing, brush less alternator rated 500 KVA at 1500 RPM with 0.8 lagging power factor at 415 volts, 3 phase 50 Hz. Both Alternator & Diesel Engine mounted & aligned on a common MS Base Frame complete with suitable size fuel tank, Residential Exhaust Silencer along with its associated piping of suitable size and length to meet actual site requirement as per recommendation of manufacturer, AVM Pads fitted on base frame as per recommendation of the manufacturer of DG Set to ensure vibration free installation. The DG Set shall be accompanied with two no. lead acid battery ( 12V Each) and battery charger with all necessary accessories. Tool kit to be provided as per standard engineering practice/ manufacturer recommendation. The acoustic lining of DG Set should be made of high quality insulation material i.e. rock wool/ mineral wool/ glass/ PU Foam of appropriate thickness & density for providing maximium sound absorption as per latest CPCB-IV+ Norms and covered with fine glass fibre cloth & would be supported by perforated MS sheet duly powder coated/ GI Sheet/ Aluminium Sheet or as per latest CPCB ammendments. Above silent type DG Set shall be provided & installed complete with all accessories as above complete in all respects for satisfatory commissioning of the equipment as required. (NOTE: The detailed Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, List of Approved Makes, Technical Particulars Proposed by Manufacturer/ Bidder (to be filled by bidder) are attached in Tender Document from page 78 to 88)

Supply, fabricating, installing, testing, commissioning of electricaly connected factory (CPRI approved) made, AMF panel board for 500 KVA DG Set with IP66 Protection. The AMF Panel should be supplied with suitable rating Breaker for Both DG Set & Mains Supply. (NOTE: All technical detail related to this is attached in Tender Document from Page 81 to 83)

Supplying & testing of Aluminium conductor, armoured, PVC insulated & PVC sheathed/ XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following sizes as required. i) 3.5 core 400 sqmm

Supplying & testing of Aluminium conductor, armoured, PVC insulated & PVC sheathed/ XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following sizes as required. i) 3.5 core 300 sqmm

Supplying & testing of solid Copper conductor, XLPE insulated, core laid up, PVC Tape Innersheathed, unarmoured control cable of 650/1100 V grade of following sizes as required. i) 8.0 core 2.5 sqmm

SITC of electrically connected factory ( CPRI approved) made, LT Panel board of size 600x900x900 mm as recommended by IS & CPRI norms, outdoor type ( Double door openable), Floor Mounted, 1100 volts, made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick fully compartmentalised with IP 66 protection with angle iron frame of 50x50x6 mm thick, for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire AC Supply, complete all as specified including provision of following accessories components housed in it :- i) 1000 Amp rated Aluminium Bus Bar with colour code TPN mounted on epoxy insulators = 01 Set ii) Earthing Terminals and cable glands. iii) Danger notice plate for LT with conventional skull & bones duly rivetted/ pasted to the panel board door. iv) Provision of connecting 04 Nos cables in outgoings. Incoming: i) ACB 1000 Amps, 4 Pole 50 KA, Manual Fixed Type.

Earthing with GI earth plate 600mmx600mmx6mm thick including accessories and providing masonary enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600mmx600mmx3mm thick including accessories and providing masonary enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Supplying & laying 25mmx5mm GI strip at 0.50 Mtr below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ termination with GI nut, bolt,spring, washer etc as required. ( Jointing shall be done by overlapping and bwith 2 Sets of GI nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50 mm)

Providing & fixing 25mmx5mm copper strip in 40 mm dia GI pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and refilling etc. as required.

Providing & fixing 25mmx5mm GI strip in 40 mm dia GI pipe from earth electrode including connection with GI nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and refilling etc. as required.

Providing & fixing 25 mm x 5 mm copper strip on surface or in recess for connection etc as required.

Supplying & making end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/ XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as required. i) 3.5 x 300 sqmm ( 70mm )

Supplying & making end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/ XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as required. i) 3.5 x 400 sqmm ( 82mm )

Supplying & laying of following size DWC HDPE pipe ISI Marked along with all accessories like socket, bend, coupler etc conforming to IS 14930, Part II complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc in the existing trench, complete as required. i) 160 MM dia ( OD 160 mm & ID 135 nominal )
