M & L for preparing surfaces and applying a coat of Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer [Nito Zinc Primer of M/s. Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent approved bonding agent in M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. or M/s. STP Ltd. or M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/s Bostik India Pvt. M & L for providing additional reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed Bars of Grade Fe–500D by checking the diameter of the existing bars, cutting the necessary main reinforcement to the required length with proper development length, tying and binding with 16 SWG black soft annealed binding wire / welding where required / lapping / anchoring with the existing shear connectors / reinforcement so that the additional reinforcement acts monolithically with the existing reinforcement and core concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The shear reinforcement shall also be provided as specified here-in-above in the form of 2 "U" shaped bars if existing shear reinforcement is found deteriorated / diameter of the bars is reduced to form a rigid cage and placing with proper cover block, supports, chairs, spacers etc. Diameter of the new bar shall be equal to the existing bars. Additional reinforcement shall be provided only in case the diameter of the existing bars is found less than 25% of the original diameter.

Supply only integral water proofing compound [ISI marked] of approved make.

M & L for Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 KG of cement per Sq.m area, surface finished fair and even without using extra cement, rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of water proofing compound of approved make as per manufacturers instructions for levelling the surface smooth to receive the water proofing membrane, priming the surface with a coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.50 KG per Sq.m, applying a coat of Blown Bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg per Sq.m, laying Polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.00 Kg per Sq.m reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric of weight not less than 150 Grams per Sq.m, by torch application with side over lap of 100mm & end over lap of 150mm & tucked into the chases on vertical surfaces by thermo fusion including applying a coat of Blown Bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg per Sq.m on top for water proofing treatment complete including taking down existing Roof Treatment of any description including PCC padding of any description and removing rubbish to a distance exceeding 1.50 KM but not exeeding 5.00 KM complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

M & L for Plain / Chequered Cement Concrete Tiles of size 300 X 300 mm, 25mm thick, Hydraulically pressed as in Floors, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry to match including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 1 to 116: The work shall be carried out up to Sixteen Storey height and the rates quoted are deemed to be including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
