Amount

The rates quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- [i] The repairs shall be done by skilled workmen in the relevant field to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower for the entire period so that progress of work shall not be hampered due to non availability of labour at any time. [ii] The contractor on getting information through Site order / Works diary regarding the nature of repair to be carried out, he shall immediately respond to the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 48 hours. In case of any delay in responding / attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs. 100/- per day per each work ordered upto 05(Five) days and Rs. 200/- per day thereafter till completion of the work in case of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE. [iii] Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple locations of work at the same period. It is the responsibility of contractor to make suitable arrangements for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places. [iv] The decision of the GE as to whether a particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e (Compensation for delay in completion of work). NOTE:-The work is to be executed in multistoried buildings Tenderers/bidders are advised to vist the site and quote their rate accordingly and no claim whatsoever in this regard shall be admissible at any later stage.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and and similar suspended work, debris & rubbish to a distance not exc 100m complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for Cutting / Chipping the spalled loose concrete of Slabs, Beams, Columns, Fins, Facias, Parapets & Chajjas etc. and trimming, cleaning the surfaces of any thickness to receive Guniting / Plastering, preparing surfaces and applying a coat of Zinc rich epoxy primer to all steel surfaces as antirust agent and welding steel wire Fabric / Mesh of aperture 75mm and 2mm dia of wire to existing reinforcement, applying a coat of Nito Bond AR of M/s. Fosroc Chemicals or M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. or M/s. STP Ltd. or M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/s Bostik India Pvt. Ltd as per manufacturer's instructions and providing pressure Guniting up to 25 mm (average thickness) at a pressure of not less than 6 KG / Sqcm in CM 1:3 duly mixing the mortar with and including polycrete admixture of M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. or M/s. STP Ltd. or M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/s Bostik India Pvt. Ltd. @ 2% of weight of cement, finishing the surface rough and finally rendering with 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement conforming to proper geometrics to match with the existing surface including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion and disposal of demolished materials / debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:(a) steel welded mesh to be welded with the existing reinforcement. The cost of welded mesh is to be welded with the existing re-inforcement is deemed to be included in the quoted rate complete all as specified and directed. (b) The work is to be carried out through the authorized reps/technicians of original manufacturers and contractor will have submit all necessary documents and proofs in this regard.

Note:- Notes for Item No 115 :- (a)The Roof treatment work shall be carried out through the original manufacturer or his authorized applicator only , Contractor will have to submit MOU between him and the manufacturer/ authorized applicator before start of work and contractor will have to submit all necessary documents like Purchase Vouchers, test Certificates, Authorization letter of manufacturer, MOU etc before payment of RAR. (b) Contractor will have to submit a written guarantee for water proofing treatment for a period of 10 years on a stamp paper of Rs 100 . (c) Contractor will have to deposit a FDR for a Sum equal to 3% of Total Cost of water proofing Treatment before issue of final completion of work failing which the sum shall be deducted from his RARs/Final Bill.
