Pump House:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) of Pump House including all allied Civil Works, internal & external Electrical work wiring, Sanitay work, excavation in foundation in all kinds of soils, C/o. Toilets, C/o. Septic Tanks of capacity for 10 No. users, including cost of site development required as per site condition, alongwith all allied accessories and painting with asian apex ultima with priming coat and wall putty complete as directed by engineer in charge. The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing with design and one soft copy to the department after approval. Refer to Data Sheet No. 1.

The scop of work include the c/o 0.12 MLD cap. WTP ( Slow sand Filter bed ) capable to treat the raw water of the quality specified in the basic design data to reduce clear water as per the requirement of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and as specified in basic design data. The water treatment plant shall include the construction of Raw water tank, sedimentation tank, Slow sand filter bed, Clear water tank and requirment of piping, valves etc. complete in all respect. ( Refer Data Sheet No. 4 for further details )
Providing horizontal spindle,horizontal/redial split casing/end suction(Back-pull out arrangements) single/double/multi stage Star rated centrifugal pump or combination of pumps, In series/parallel of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir/Kirlosker/BE/Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting water for under mentioned characterestics with bronze,impellers/priming funnels,casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze,shaft of steel grade 4508 FN8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common MS/Cast steel base plate (base plate to be from the manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to slip ring/ squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor /motors of standard make such as Kirlosker/BHEL /Crompton /NGEF /GEC/Siemens/Jyoti /ABB and suitable for operation on 400(+/-)10% volts,50 cycles /second.3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. It should include cost of bearing nuts , bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements:- . .
(a) 1st Stage :-Discharge of Pump 3.19 LPS Total head 771.65 Mtr ,2 set of 60 HP(1 set working + 1 set stand by). (Refer Data Sheet No 5 for further details )

Excavation in foundation, trenches (for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing , laying, jointing and testing in trenches of GMSERW flanged pipes excluding cost of flanged bends of all degree confirming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 grade L-290 or X-42 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length 5 M to 7 M, the MS flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below confirming to IS 6392-1971 (with up to date ammendments), and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS 814-1967 including required numbers and size of MS nut & bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less then 3mm th. as per IS 2712-1965 and 95% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face + one layer inner face to make the joints leak proof to the intire satisfactions of the Engineer in charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS 5822-1994 ( earth work in trenches, MS flanges joints to be measure and paid seperatly) The pipe shall have zink coating as per IS 4736 in factory latest with upto date amendments.

The welding of flange should be done in two layers on both faces to make to the joints air tight and leak proof(The cost of providing and laying of GMSREW pipe to be measured and paid for seprately) and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge
