Removal of rubbers deposits on runway surfaces using "water blasting cum vaccum system" with suitable operating pressure so that the total rubber deposits for removed from runway both surfaces (Rigid and Flexible surfaces) without damaging the existing surfaces. Total rubber deposits should be removed and the debris/ water to be vaccumed simultenously leaving no FOD, so that runway is available for operation immediately etc. complete all as directed. Notes:- (i) Both surfaces(Rigid/Flexible) shall not get any kind of damage during the process of rubber removal or to any adjoining areas joint filling etc. Damages made if any shall be made by the contractor without any extra cost. (ii) Runway surface friction will be tested by the contractor prior and after of rubber removal for verification of improvement in the skid resistance. All the expences in this regard shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Work to be carried out by truck- mounted mechanically operated machine under strict supervision of related experienced person.

Removal of airsides paint on runway surfaces by using "water blasting cum vaccum system" with suitable operating and pressure so that the total paint deposit should be removed, pavement surfaces texture and surface condition intact completely all as directed.

Cutting/ Drilling of existing concrete/ rocks etc. at a depth of approx 01 mtr from the existing ground level and maintain proper slope with adjoining drain with the help of suitable mechanical means so as to drill a bore hole of 400mm dia and insert (340 to 350)mm PVC pipe of length 17 mtr without damaging the existing top bituminous surface, maintaining proper surface texture and surface condition remains intact without leaving any FOD, so that runway is available for operation immediately. Excavated materials/soil should be removed to a distance not exc.100 mtrs and deposited where directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes:- (i) Flexible surfaces of runway should not get any kind of damages during the process of digging and inserting casing pipe through entire length of drain or to any adjoining drains etc. damages made if any shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost, complete all as specified and as directed. (ii) Slope of drain will be tested by the contractor prior and after of work. All the expenses in this regard shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) PVC pipe will be measured and paid separately and fixing charges included in the quoted rate.

Supply only PVC deep casing (Ribbed) pipe of nominal dia 300mm with wall thickness and outer dia not less than 340mm as per IS:12818:1992. Make:- Natraj/Prince/Fusion/Supreme
