SPECIAL REPAIRS TO APPROACH ROADS OF STATION OFFICERS MESS AT PANGODE MILITARY STATION TRIVANDRUM

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleared surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tackcoat with bituminous primer paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Bituminous premixed semi dense asphattic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 rolled and compacted to required camber and gradent with 5 to 10 tonne capacity power roller and complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for applying 2mm thick road marking paint with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint conforming to BS 3262 (1989), either continuous or broken lines over exisiting or new painting surface of cement or bituminous surface, laid down through road marking machine using thermoplastic material by incorporating the white glass powder for reflectivity in 100 to 150 mm width in white or golden yellow colour by using applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engr-in-Charge and in accordance with applicable specification.

Moorum/red bajri filling infloors or pavings laid in layers n exc 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering all as specified and as directed.

S & F cat eye's (Raised Pavement marker) 100mm x 100mm x 20mm, made of tough polycarbonate body with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective lenses on two side for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry condition fixed with hot melt bitumen adhesive, fixed at suitable distance including necessary preparation complete all as specified as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 6 above but removing and re-fixing old cat Eye including necessary fixing arrangement etc of any size all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
