Note: (i) Please refer Schedule 'A' Notes given in tender documents. (ii) These Schedule 'A' Part-I to Part-III are not estimated by MES and the estimated rate indicated as "Rs. 0.00" under Col. 5 signifies this fact only. (iii) The quoted rates shall include the rates of all repair works including all the Material and Labour during execution of work for the existing building as per existing specification of building all as directed by Engineer in charge.

CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM WORKS (SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I)

Design, Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Central Heating Plant using oil fired Glycol based Hot water generator (Kerosene/ HSD oil as fuel) suitable for operation at 50Hz, Three phase 4 wire, 433/230 volts, AC Supply, complete for maintaining the temperature inside the building at 22°C± 2°C during winter for the building. The temperature should be maintained at Baramulla Gn (J&K) as per the data sheet given in Notes & Specifications at ambient temperature upto (-) 10 degree at the height of 1523 mtr above MSL . Tentative Capacity of Plants is as follows : Central Heating Plant for Single Defi Accn at Baramulla Building (G+1) - 02 Nos x 200000 Kcal/Hr (working) alongwith 01 No x 200000 KCal/Hr (stand by). NOTE :- Total 03 Nos pf blocks to be heated i.e. 3 x (G+1) living room, bed room, servant room, 2 Nos Toilet and Varandaah.

Each CHS Plant should comprise of boilers (2 Nos Working + 1 No Stand by), glycol solution centrifugal circulation pumps, flue gas exhaust pipe connected to chimney as per latest CPCB norms (01 No with Each Boiler) , expansion tank, glycol fluid tank, underground bulk oil storage tank (not less than 10 KL), day oil storage tank (not less than 990 Ltrs), transfer gear oil pump kerosene oil (01 No Working + 1 No Stand by) for each boiler. Kerosene/HSD oil piping of suitable size with necessary accessories, hot glycol fluid piping of suitable size with suitable insulation and necessary accessories, suitable valves, for heating of toilets, towel radiator to be provided and for rooms, wall mounted fan coil unit to be provided, in addition to this; the bulk oil tank capacity of 5000 litres is sufficient for this capacity system, 1st fill of glycol charge (The mixture of water and glycol shall have freezing temperature of minus (-) 25 deg Celcius), LT Panel with necessary safety control system with all accessories including all necessory electric connection with the equipment (Cables shall run in Cable tray of suitable size), danger notice plate, “ No Smoking " and “ Flammable” sign board as per requirement of Petroleum Rules and CCOE) and all other necessary items. Notes : (a) The tenderer is required to work out their rates/price and quote their rates based on their design. (b) All the equipment & accessories should be as per appropriate codel provisions. (c) The rates quoted by the tenderer for the work deemed to include the provision of following:-

(i) Necessary PCC/RCC foundation for Chimney, Pumps, Boilers, Tanks and other equipments as specified by the OEM. (ii) Design, supply, install, testing and commissioning of CHS to accomodate existing plant room of size = 13.76m x 8.72m x 4.50m. (iii) Submission of whole scheme of CHS including Boiler and pump capacity design, Radiator capacity design, piping design from plant to the room for circulation of Glycol mixture and technical specification shall be duly vetted by IIT (not by professor/designer in his individual capacity) within 90 days form date of commencement of work for approval of Accepting Officer. The invoice of the payment made to institute for vetting the whole scheme to be submitted to the Department. (iv) All the Electric Panels should should be as per suitable ingress portection Code and CPRI approved. All the equipment & accessories should be as per appropriate codal provisions. (v) All the miscellenous and other items, if any required, as per OEM's Design. (vi) Piping to be laid should be as per best engineering practice. Cost of cutting road/path/culvert or making underground duct for pipes etc including making good to the disturbed surfaces matching with existing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vii) All the makes of the equipments should be as per the approve makes of products as listed in respective Appx of perticular specifications. (viii) Distance between CHS Plant Room Building No. A = 20 RM, Building No. B = 20 RM and Building No. C = 58 RM

Additional Details for Defi Accn black (03 blocks):- (a) Size of windows made with Aluminium with 4 mm glass as following:- W6A = 2000 mm x 1200 mm = 16 Nos Each Block F W-5 = 1500 mm x 1200 mm = 08 Nos Each Block F (b) Size of Door made Wooden with plywood as following:- D10 = 1000 mm x 2100 mm = 12 Nos Each Block FA PVC = 1200 mm x 2100 mm = 08 Nos Each Block DYB (c) External wall : External Wall thickness is 230mm (Brick Wall). External wall plaster in two layers, First Layer 10 mm thick in CM (1:6) and second layer 5 mm thick in CM (1:4). (d) Internal wall : Internal wall plaster 15 mm thick in CM (1:6). (e) Wall panelling : Following Rooms have Wooden wall panelling :- (i) Living Room (ii) Bed Room (iii) Balcony (Varandha) (iv) Rest as shown in drawing (v) Servant Qtr and Bathroom are also to be heated (as per Bldg Drg attached).

(f) Floor: Tiles (g) Bldg Elevation : As Showing in Drawing (h) Room Size : As showing in Drawing (j) Material of Ceiling at Roof Top : Ceiling of top floor is E-board 4mm thick (k) Design Parameters:- (i) Min Outside design condition : (-) 10° C, (ii) Max Outside design condition : (+) 35° C , (iii) Inside design condition : 22°C± 2°C , (iv) Air Change : 1.5% Naturally (v) Humiditifier should be provided in room to maintain the proper Humidity in Bldg. Note: Above mentioned conditions should be maintained during the entire winter season. (Mid Oct to Mid Apr) Stand by DG Set : Load has already been catered in Original work. Transformer : Load has already been catered in Original work. Existing CHS Plant Room Size of 13.76m x 8.72m x 4.5m has already been catered in Original work.

MISCELLANEOUS WORKS (SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II)

M&L for second class wrought hardwood in scantlings in framed timber work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 2nd class softwood plain fillets square, rectangular or triangular in section, wrought secured with screws, nails or brads; cross sectional area exc 3 sqcm and not exc 6 sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 2nd class softwood plain fillets square, rectangular or triangular in section, wrought secured with screws, nails or brads; cross sectional area exc 6 sqcm and not exc 13 sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 6mm thick veneered decorative plywood, grade 1 (with BWR resin) with decorative face veneer on one face; fixed with screws/nails to timber frame work in partitions, walls, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 6mm thick veneered decorative plywood, grade 1 (with BWR resin) with decorative face veneer on one face; fixed with screws/nails to timber frame work in ceiling, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly or previously untreated surfaces of wood or wood based on any description not exc 10cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in different tint and painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

MANNING AND OPERATION OF CHS PLANT DURING DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD (SCHEDULE 'A' PART-III)

Outsourcing of services for first winter season (Oct-Mar) after completion of phase-I&II for manning and operation of CHS Plant Single Defi Accn at Baramulla Building by deploying one operator in each shift (each shift of 08 Hours) in three shift i.e round the clock including Sundays and holidays complete, in reliable, safe & efficient operating conditions through qualified and experienced operators for the CHS after completion of Phase-I work as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Operator will operate CHS and ensure proper functioning of CHS. (ii) The operator will not leave the duty place without permission of Engineer in Charge. (iii) Any minor repairs required will be done after informing the department. (iv) Outsourcing staff will change after every 11 months. (v) Daily brooming, sweeping and removing cobweb inside the Plant room and surrounding of CHS plant room. (vi) Daily logsheet of installation in Proper format duly filled by the attendent, printed log sheets and other related documents should be provided by contractor. (vii) CHS operator should possess minimum ITI technical qualification. (viii) The duty staff will maintain the premises clean and tidy will report breakdown or any other related doc should be provided by contractor. (ix) Regular cleaning of equiptment / machinery as specified and directed. (x) The required T&P and safety measure shall be provided by the contractor including cost of the uniform is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (xi) CHS will run only during winter season as per work order for Phase-III placed by GE. If the completion of Main CHS work lies between winter season and 182 days in one season could not be operated fully, than the Contractor has to provide M&O of CHS in two winter seasons by completing full 182 days of M&O. Accordingly, GE will place the Work Order wrt M&O.
