Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil, including taking out cable covers and stacking aside for reuse at site, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in incl. spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M&L Earthing complete with excavation and earth work in any type of soil with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron, all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-1 connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanised iron 40 mm dia bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade, PCC pit with pre cast RCC cover, charcoal / salt funnel etc. complete all as directed. NOTE : (1) The conctrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 tye C -1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm TMT bars with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 m GI pipe for protection of earth strip (iii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 mtr length earth strip 32 x 6 mm (iv) Result of earthing is not less than 2 Ohm
