M&L for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 sqm and M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.27 cum of stone chippings mixed with 14.6 kg of binder VG10, laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand (As per 4.4.7.2 grading Zone-I, table 2 of SSR Part-I 2009) mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, VG-10 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bituminous premixed carpet and sand seal coat shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-10 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). (iii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 60/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iv) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow with adequate number of coats complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashler facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks type C1 1:3:6 (20 mm graded aggregate) exc 10 cm width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in copings complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in surface channel complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on block masonry surface or other than fair faces of brick work finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided and thrown away at low laying area, distance & location as directed by GE complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in as in drain cover slabs, size required at site including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rolled mild steel section as in framing for cladding, glazing and the like fixed with angle cleats and connecting plates etc Fe-410-0 Gde E-250 quality A complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes ( SGSW, AC or RCC) of internal dia 450 mm, set in cement mortar excavation and making good complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC hume pipe culverts 450 mm dia, NP3 pipe laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the side of pipes on after they are laid and tested for 450mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.
