Scheduled Maintenance Servicing Major repair to 50HP 03 Cusec Diesel Driven Dewatering Pump Set along with associated works at Indira Colony Dewatering Station

Schedule maintenance/ servicing to 50HP engine (4 cylinders) of 3 cusec diesel driven dewatering Pump set at Indra Colony by way of Desilting of pump house filled up due to flash floods in river Tawi during raining season. The job involves clearance of silt, sand, pebbles, wooden blocks and bushes etc. from inside as well as surroundings of the pump house by engaging manual labour and further disposing of the same at a suitable distance using manual labour, hand carts and necessary required tools & tackles. Repairs to the 50hp engine (4 cylinders) of Diesel driven Dewatering Pump set installed at Indra Coloney Dewatering Station by way of decoupling the engine from pump unit and foundations block. Dismantling canopy from engine. Dismantling of pump from installed position and dismantling of suction & delivery bends with the help of tripods, chain pulley block & manual labour. Dragging the engine and pump to road side for loading with the help of . Crane, tools & tackle and manual labours. Loading in Mech. Tpt. and shifting to work shop for necessary repairs. Dismantling the engines at work shop to extract damaged parts. Cleaning/decarbonising the engine/components with recommended chemicals. P/f of CR bushes, piston, liners & bearings 2 sets, gaskets & thrust washer-4Nos., inlet-exhaust valve guide and grinding them to finished size, air filter, m.oil filter, oil pipes with banjo bolts. Grinding of crank shaft upto its optimum finished level. Adjustment to tappets assembly. Complete repairs and calibration of fuel pump by dismantling and then P/f of new parts i.e injector nozzles, plungers, springs, lock sets etc. Also P/f governing set then calibrating the pump on calibration bench and fitting with engine. Providing and fitting of new suitable battery of heavy duty of minimum 12V for starting engine. Repairing of self start system of engine by way of dismantling checking of self-start assembly including starter motor and wiring. Rewinding of starter motor armature and field coil. Replacement of carbon bushes, bush set etc. Providing and fitting of reputed make battery cables, lugs and terminals. Repair of ignition switch and relay assembly. Job includes filling of engine oil 20 ltrs. Testing the engine on no load and idle testing for 6hrs. Job further includes repair to 3-Cusec pump by way of complete dismantling of pump by extracting the shaft, bearings, and impeller. Repair to impeller by way of brazing turning and finishing. Repair to body of the pump by way of welding turning and finishing the inner housing. P/f gland bush-2no. P/F of bearing-2 nos. gland set-2 no. Reassembling the pump by P/F of new gasket, nuts bolts, gland packing & greasing the bearing properly. Then back shifting the repaired engine and pump to the station in the same manner and fitting on the base frame. Refitting the repaired engine and pump at its installed position by p/f nuts & bolts, refitting of suction and delivery line by providing and fitting of rubber sheet joint, nuts and bolts required. Providing and fitting of new coupling pulley set. Servicing/Repair to 250 mm dia foot valve by way of providing and fitting of new foot valve plate mechanism, hinge pin, rubber sheet, nuts and bolts. Fitting the foot valve with suction pipe. Complete job include cost of spares, material, fuel charges for testing, labour and carriage charges,(to& fro) and hire charges of crane, tools and tackles required for the job, rebate on old parts. Inclusive of all taxes. Complete job.
