M & L for scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminious macadam surfaces in areas not exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm

M & L for 150 mm thick (complete thickness) WBM in two layers each 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse agg (granite trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled with 8 to 10 ton power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber required all as specified and directed.

Preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and apply evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen @ 10 kg/10 Sqm .

M&L for Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of Paving bitumen content by wieght of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete and rolled with mechanical paver of power exc 8 ton n exc 12 ton

M&L for providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) with glass beads of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic material applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
