Removal of existing CC Block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or as desired by Engineer. (HSR 17.67).

Providing, laying WBM (G-II) 53 mm to 22.4 mm with screening of Type ‘A’ in layer of 75mm each, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer

Relaying of available (removed and stacked)C.C. Block M-30 Size 450x300x150mm and spreading 25mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand as per technical specification clause 1503. (HSR 17.68)

Providing and laying of cement concrete blocks of size 0.450 m x0.300 m x 0.15 m of cement concrete (C.C) M30 grade and spreading 25 mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand on existing W.B.M./G.S.B base as per technical specification clause 1503 (HSR.17.66.1)

Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil by mechanical means Hydraulic excavator in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to any, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed by Engineer-in-charge, within any lead. (HSR 4.14.1 + 4.17)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 of specified grade with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size excluding the cost of centering and shuttering complete in all respect (HSR.6.1.2).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size excluding the cost of centering and shuttering, complete in all respect. (HSR.6.1.6)

Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor four level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement (HSR 6.16).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform (HSR 6.30.3)

Brick work with common burnt clay non modular bricks of class designation 10.5 in foundation and plinth in cement Mortar 1:4. (HSR 7.21.1)

12 mm cement plaster of mix 1 :4 (HSR.11.5.3)

Steel reinforcement Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. (HSR 6.33.6)

1) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and the given in HSR, the unit of nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2) In case of any difference in the unit of any non schedule item depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable
