(A) Removal of following existing unserviceable wooden components of various MES F/DB/FD/TP furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, glueing, placing everypart in-tact and polishing/painting the disturbed portion, as applicable as per drgs (B) Work will be executed in different User Units of GE (AF) Barrackpore including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. POLISHING: All wooden exposed parts shall be surfaced and smooth with sand paper or soda caustic or chemically where necessary. Joints and cracked wooden parts of furniture items to be filled with wax/putty to make up for smooth surface & polish to be applied till glossy as shown in drawing.
