PERIODICAL SERVICES TO OTM ACCN UNDER THE AREA OF AGE B/R-I OF GE (ARMY) No.1 JODHPUR

M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered surfaces of wall including cornices,pilastered etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salt and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of oil bound distemper of approved quality & tint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered surfaces of ceiling including cornices,pilastered etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salt and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of oil bound distemper (OBD) on ceiling surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wall including cornices, by brooming down or steel wire brushing to remove dust, dirt and loose scales and other foreign material, scrapping down, smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts, trading oil and greasy spots etc including filling the cracks and depressions with putty and applying one coat of plastic emulsion on wall surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2mm thick (average) wall care putty on wall/ ceiling surface including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface and making undulation of wall surface to make surface for painting complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted by bidder are deemed to be included for scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradeles, etc neccessary for execution of work and protective/safety measures and not any claim on this account are entertained at later stage on this account.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wall including cornices, by brooming down or steel wire brushing to remove dust, dirt and loose scales and other foreign material, scrapping down, smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts, trading oil and greasy spots etc including filling the cracks and depressions with putty and applying one coat of cement base paint on wall surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of old/existing treatment from walls (any number of layers) by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 grit having dia of 7" /9" to make free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour, including filling depressions of scrapped surfaces with preparation of plastered surfaces complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for applying one coat of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 0.98 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 Sqm over surfaces of wall complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for prepartion of old painted of wooden surface of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) any colour on old wooden painted surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for prepartion of old painted of steel surface of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) any colour on old steel painted surface complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down carefully cement plaster on stone or brick wall surfaces, ceilings ,sunsheds, beams, chajjas, facia, roof projection etc upto cover depth by chipping out lightly including necessary scafolding & raking out joints , hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc and removing of debris from site, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on stone masonry surfaces or surface other than fair face of brickwork or on one side of lathing finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement using water proofing compound, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L preperartion of newly plastered surfaces on wall and applying one coat of wall putty with fair finished and even surface and applying two coat of oil emulsion distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surface other than fair face of brickwork or on one side of lathing finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary scaffolding arrangement at a height upto 10m with mixing using water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Water Proofing Compound shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ)

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 as on ceiling ,sunsheds, beams, roof projections etc and finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary scaffolding arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered or concrete surface of ceiling by sand papering or by the other mean and after preparing the surfaces and applying two coat of white wash on ceiling with (paint brush /with roller ) complete all as specified and directed.

Racking out joints/pointing to square rubble masonry Jodhpur type regular coursed built in cement mortar complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Keyed pointing to square rubble masonry Jodhpur type regular course in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls/chajjas/lintel and applying two coats of cement base paint (white or tinted) over a coat of alkali resistant primer, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L rewriting or repainting of existing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italian or Indian) not exceeding 30 cm high complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No. 3,4,5,6,8,9 & 10 :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Material / Paint buckets in r/o OBD, Exterior emulsion paint, plastic emulsion paint etc as directed by Engr-in-Charge shall be deposit in Sub division store in the custody of JE, Paint of above items will be issued by the JE as per site requirement to rep of contractor on daily basis.
