Supplying, laying and testing of LT UG cable, XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of following sizes complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work ( Excavation, Returning & filling and removal), sand cushining , cable protection cover, GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of Sch 'A'.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n exc 1.5 mtr in width and n. exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cables,Foundation filling of poles or stays complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling, in including spreading ,leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for good quality dry sand cushioning to under ground electric cable on layer of 8 cm thick before laying the cable and second layer of 15 cm thick after laying the cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of MES Schedule part-I (2009) Note : Sand shall be fined sand as specifed and punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks of old size (230x115x75 mm) or of size locally available , laid along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

S&F PVC insulated & sheathed, multistranded copper conductor industrial cable 1.5 sqmm 3 core 1100 volt grade from Junction box to street light fitting as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Polystyrene body IP 65 cable junction box with connector metric knockouts on all sides for cable entry including cable glands,sizeof junction box 200 x 160 x 98 mm as per Hensel cat ref no. K 9255 or equivalent duly fitted with followings:-

ELMEX or equivalent make end plate - 1 No

ELMEX or equivalent make end clamps - 2 Nos

Clamp made of 30x5 mm flat iron duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer suitable for steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31.

Taking out of unserviceable LT cable XLPE, aluminium armoured type up to 25 Sqmm 4 core from existingcomplete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Taking out of unserviceable LT cable XLPE, aluminium armoured type 35 Sqmm3.5 core to 120Sqmm 3.5 Core core from existing complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Labour & tools for horizontal boring through road / path / floor for passing UG cables by using trench less technology for laying upto 80mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note : GI pipe will be measured and paid seperately.

M & L for excavation in post holes (or similar holes) n.exc 0.5 cum on plan and getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance 50m.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 24 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil& removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) in foundation filling & mass concrete as in post complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Hard core broken boulder of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick watered and well rammed to a line surface complete all as specified and directed.

S & F joist, channel, angle, or T-sections fixed independently, without connecting plates etc (cut to ordinary lengths i.e within 20mm of the length) conforming to FE-290(Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed
