(e) Fourth coat of bonding material using hot blown type bitumen confirming to IS 702-1998 of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm (f) Fifth and top most layer of surface finish 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate in roof padding over APP membrane, the surface of concrete is to be finished even and smooth with using extra cement and proved V shaped groove 6mm wide & 10mm depth filled with mastic bitumen of (1:1) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel including dismentling of existing earth pit etc complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-( ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth wire. Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iii) Item includes cost of lead wire up to 7.5 m Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Note for all above items:-(i) All items in BOQ are for "Materials and labour / Supply and fix" and to be executed in "Repairs i.e. incld taking down old items" unless optherwise specifically mentioned as "Suppply only" or "fixing only" in BOQ. Contractors are required to quote their rates accordingly. (ii) The contract sum shall be arrived at after duducting amount of schedule of "Credit" from the Total quoted amount.
