Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for taking out / laying of under ground cable in trenches or cable ducts all complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil after repairing / jointing and laying and testing of cables complete all as specified

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposited at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above from the starting point complete all as specified

M&L natural river sand as cushioning of cables including spreading and punning down all as per clause No 19.75 of SSR part -I all as specified. Note : Punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, type 1, flat, size 250mmx150mmx40mm for protection of cable, laying in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Labour charges for re-laying of serviceable bricks of any size and type recovered during taking out of old cable , over newly laid or re-laid cables all complete as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting existing road / PCC drain for taking out / laying of underground cable and including necessary earth work and making good to match with the existing surface with PCC 1:3:6 type CI using 20mm graded aggregates complete all as specified

M&L for 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified.

M&L for 80mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified.

Taking down or out existing cable of sizes 2/3.5/4 core 10 sqmm to 70 sqmm from the trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles / through poles / under roads/ inside sub station including segregation the serviceable cable by cutting down defective portion after testing by meggar (insulation tester ) , stacking and rolling unserviceable cable for further disposal all as directed by Engineer in charge Note :(1) Excavation / cutting of road or floor/ GI pipe & laying / relaying of cable etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule

Relaying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location or through cable ducts inside sub station of size 2/3.5/4 core 10 to 70 sqmm in trenches / ducts / along walls / poles / under road etc including necessary cable lugs, glands etc complete all as directed and specified Note ;- Lugs and Glands will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for dismantling the cable connections of 3/4 pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 630 to 1000 Amps ,415 V 50 HZ of Any make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/ overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance :- (Srl item No. 52 is here-by continued as Srl item No. 52.10 to 52.80)

a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution.

b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual

c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the worn-out parts.

d) Check arc chutes for damage and replace damaged parts.

e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oil (SAE-20 or 30) for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces . Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer's instructional manual . Replace if there is excessive wear and tear.

f) Checking / inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required.

g) Replacing the badly worn or burned contacts. Checking control device free for operation.

j) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional

Note : The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts/bolts/washers/ pins etc. Major spares like contacts, shunt trip coil , relays, CTs etc will be measured & paid separately under relevant schedule items
