81346 OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR 33 OR 11 KV SUB STATION AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF OUTDOOR SUBSTATION AT KATTABOMMAN UNDER GE TIRUNELVELI

Round the clock manning and operation (including sundays & holidays) of 33/11 KV Sub station, Switch yard and Building comprising of MCCBs. CTS, PT, AB Switches, 33/11 KV Transformers, Two pole/ Four pole Structures, Relay panels, HT VCBs (indoor and out door), LAs, Battery Charger and Battery etc., including its routine maintenance, Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly / annually all as directed and as specified. SHIFT TIMINGS I shift ( 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs ) II shift (1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs) III shift (2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs)

Notes: (i) Repair / replacement of minor fittings like indication lamps, Fuse wires, Bolt nuts, Distilled water, Battery terminal clips etc. shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer. (ii) Operation of street lights located in the installation and INS Kattabomman area including repairs to street lights complete. (iii) Regular checking of load balancing / load on transformer. (iv) Attending break down of external electric installations, all faults of UG cable / OH line on respective installation and INS Katabbomman area (including Watch Towers), replacement of HT/LT/HRC fuses if required exclusively / with MES team. (v) Necessary required T&P shall be provided by the contractor at the substation. (vi) Operators dress with shoe and gum boots earth rod, first aid kit with item, emergency light, rain coat and Two wheeler vehicle shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer.

Electrician - 03 Nos. (01 No each for each of the 03 shifts)

Electrician Mate - 05 Nos (01 No. for 1st shift, 02 Nos. each for 2nd and 3rd shift)

Manning and operation (including sundays & holidays) of out door substaions 11 KV of two / four pole structure with out door transformer, GODs, drop out fuses and LT panels /Feeder Pillars LT UG cable and Over head transmission lines etc... by attending the emergency breakdown / fuse calls, replacing the damaged fuses at HT and LT side, greasing /lubricating the two pole structure properly for smooth functioning, checking the jumber connection and tightening the loose connection at the two pole / four pole structure, checking the oil level of the transformer daily all as specified and directed. SHIFT TIMINGS I shift ( 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs ) II shift (1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs) III shift (2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs) General Shift ( 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs) Notes: (i) Attending break down of external electric installations, all faults of UG cable / OH line on respective installation and INS KBN area (including Watch Towers), replacement of HT/LT/HRC fuses if required exclusively / with MES team. (ii) Checking IR value of cables as required and installations as required. (iii) Periodical checking of earthing and watering as required. (iv) Replacement of cable gland, lugs of proper size and applying petroleum jelly on the contact terminals. (v) Attending the break down of external electrical services.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations and all unwanted materials shall be removed from around the installation and substation premises, MES buildings etc... and depositing waste materials outside INS KATTABOMMAN Complex complete all as specified and directed for the following installations/ Buildings:- (a) TSL Colony (b) Ward room (c) COMCEN (d) NWWA (e) MES Office (f) MI Room

(g) ATS (h) Defence Civilian Accn (j) Near KV (k) Near Tarangani Auditorium (l) 4 Pole/ 2 Pole/ Cut point (other than Sub station/Transformer) and Pump House
